It was a good move, however anytime I would play with my friends and they'd do it on me I'd get pissed cuz the health is just constantly going away unfairly killing me. Though I'm really sure I want it gone?

How about you guys?

I'm not too sure if they have been confirmed in MKD or not.

I think they need improvement if they are in the game though. The character should be able to remove it, but by doing this is would leave them more vulnerable in attack because it would take a second or 2. Kind of like the opposite to a taunt/powerup move.

i am all for it again. I thought it to be an awesome idea. However, with the inclusion of death traps and multiple fatalities it might be a bit much. After all, i always considered it a "ring out" or an alternate to a fatality.

It all depends on the weapon and whether or not you're willing to sacrifice it. For a weak weapon (sais, kori blade) I just skewer the sucker and fight on with my other styles. But a more useful weapon (steel fans, daggers) you might want to hang on to.

I think that only the stronger weapons should have impale moves, that way it is more of a sacrifice. Giving impale moves to weaker weapons is cheap, IMO.

Hopefully there will be an option for us to turn it on/off along with the round's time, level select, and fatality time!

Its pretty cool to do at first, but after a while it got old. I never use it in a match vs my friends because its to hard to get on em, and they never get it on me. SO i dont really care if it comes back or not

I agree that you should be able to pull them out. I liked the impaling, and it's a nice strategic move, but some people mis-use it. I know some people who just impale you and for the remainder of the round they just run away. Hate that tactick.

This idea is really cool and seems better than giving impale moves to all weapons. Adds more strategy

I was playing as Frost the other day on DA and I impaled my friend with her daggers and then just did the flip move to stay away.... it was pretty amusing...

I don't mind the impale moves in MK:D and I also don't mind if they won't.

Am neutral abut it.

The impale system wasn't bad before. I mean it was risky to attempt with good rewards if successful.

I'd like to see it again.

Bah, it's things like that which make it cheap.

But, yes, I would like to see it return. It does make things interesting.

I liked the impale move, but maybe it should be a bit harder to do instead of just pressing a button.

I think it should be left in. And be a little faster too. YOu must have VERY and I repeat VERY slow reflexes to get hit by that attack especially when the impaler pulls it back before thrusting the sword into your stomache.

I know it was cheap, but it was funny, because she beat me the round before and I thought... lets make a fool out of my friend... anyway, if you can pull the weapon out with alittle distance and time, I think it would be interesting to have them back.

Hell No!!!! It was cheaper that sliced bread in MK:DA. I hated it when I'm trying to kick my friend's arse with Scorpion and he wins with Kung Lao cause he impaled me!!! Now that's illegal!!

If it is brought back with MK:D, I think that there should be different grades of impaling, like:

1) A total miss: you've missed them entirely and left yourself WIDE OPEN to counter-attack. You still have your weapon.

2) A knick: You've tried to impale them and only just got them, you still have your weapon.

3) Minor impale: You've got them, and it's in them, but it falls out when they counter-attack

4) Typical Impale: You'ved got them, and it's in them, but it falls out when they attack another 7 times. (Ie, punch 7 times, kick 7 times, whatever)

5) Major impale: You've got them, it's in them, and it falls out after 15 punches/kicks

6) Ownage: It's in them, and there is no way in hell that sucker is coming out.

All these depend on how well it is done, how close you are, how well the other person defends/dodges.

Once a weapon falls out, it is on the ground waiting for someone to pick it up, much like the thrown weapons in MK4.
