This is a subject I'd hope some of the more die hard MK fans would reply to. I take this stuff very seriously(definitely more than I should!)

Anyways, in MKDA, the characters' endings were inconsistent! In example; Sonya gets killed in Kano's ending, yet lives in hers! Now I understand that since she won, she shouldn't die, but we're talking about a living universe. This inconsistency is very problematic for the story!!

If anyone knows anything about this(I doubt it yet!) then please feel free to reply or better yet email me! Whether it's official or not, let me know your ideas!

May MK live forever in the video gaming world!!!!
Ed Boon should be immortal!!!

Thanx!

I always thought that these endings are "what if" endings. They're suppose to be inconsistent since it's saying if Sonya won she'll live blah blah blah, and if Kano does she dies blah blah blah.

They should be more definite, in my opinion. It seems like Kano has "died" in every game he's been in.

I'm hoping that Konquest gives a clear explanation as to:

1- What exactly has happened throughout the series.
2- Where are certain characters, who survived and who didn't.

They really need to set some things in stone, story wise. It's annoying how many things are overwritten/changed in a new MK. Now it seems that Jarek is alive and well, being in the prison stage, despite there being nothing before to contradict his death.

YES, they are "WHAT IF" endings....not all endings are the officially story of MK....
They should tell about what happens to them after the tourney or during it not tell "what if" they won.

I agree, in Mortal Kombat II it told how Shang Tsung was defeated by Liu Kang and what happened to all of the original fighters from the first game.

Mortal Kombat had lost it's touch on the story. I was so confused during the Mortal Kombat 3 era and the affect isn't wearing off on me.

Ah every game has it's "What IF" endings, especially MK. The MK series ending has always been the same
