It wont solve anything. Nobody plays on the tiers anymore. Really these Tier list threads need to be closed along with some other useless threads. This goes for MKAC as well.

I no longer have any interest in hosting the tiers anymore. Its a lot of work that is really just not worth it when only 5 people may be active tier players.

I hear you Quest. Why has MKF got so many adversaries? I've known MKF for a while now and apart from his long posts, I can't understand why everyone is after him. Here is another thread dedicated to MKF. What's the point? MKF this, MKF that. I think we should cut the guy some slack.

On who's better than who. It really doesn't bother me. The most important thing is that I fully enjoy the series I take part in. The best ones are those that my opponents are not counter picking and remain totally competitive regardless of the tier of character they choose to pick.

Here are some two of the people whom I've have played against on level... Eazy & Pig. They both have phat roster and fully utilize each character. I'm not saying they're the best in the game but those are the two I would love to emulate as I try to develop my game further. They inspire me whenever get the chance to play them. I would probably add Doohoo, Alexei and Groy to that list but I haven't played them frequently enough to judge.

If you use only a handful of characters, then I won't consider you as a elite in my context of total MK. That's the problem with MKF because he still has to work on broadening his roster.

In terms of gameplay dynamics, I would say he's right up there. His ability to adapt is always evident during a series.

Trax, it is simple. People do not like MKF. People like him less than RED. That is a fact. They still fought but we all know he ducks.
That’s right Quest2be1 is coming out with the fucking truth now!! I am sick of this shit and it needs to be put in its place. MKF ducks and stays offline. Red sure he loves his combos and somewhat cheap tactics. It is great they both fought. I don’t care who won or loss but we already have a new scenario with MKF vs. MEsoFLY. He hits 1 up and runs, I think 8-7. I swear I would beat my friend if he was next to me and did that shit. I like MKF, yet I have been here long enough to see where people hide their skeletons. Either leave at 7 or stay till 10!

There are clearly some things you dont get. Mav loves drama and MKF is a source of controversy. Plus MKF toots his own horn alot and with the exception of this Red battle, which he was all but forced into, he doesnt play enough of us to try to make a claim at the title. That being said...MKF is a good player.

I want to get a few points off my chest here.


I just want to say that different players will have different views on "elite" status....

meaning, let's take bobby vs. pig for example. When I played pig early on best I could do was tie him, then every series after that he's beaten me.

Now, bobby was a little different. I've beaten him at first, then he mastered Sareena and has been unstoppable ever since, now when bobby played pig bobby won, yet when I played pig I have trouble against pig, yet I feel my chances are better against bobby as far as winning or at least perhaps holding my own.

Now, I'm not saying I'm better then either before people jump to conclusions, just breaking down match ups.

As malone once said, anyone who judges being elite based on a few players is nonsense. You have to play majority and see how you do, sometimes there will be players that simply match up better against others compared to other players.

The example above is a good one.

Now, since we are talking "elites" what about alexie, malone, dirtylova, nsobo?

When these guys played they can tell you that I held my own if not beat them, actually I have beaten them but obviously not recent since they don't go on anymore.

Not taking any credit away from Groy, eazy but come on? These two aren't the only ones on here that are good players, there are more...so if we are judging by this then technically nobody here is good except two players? that's crap...no offense to anyone who disagrees, but that is bs and it insults the rest of the players here.

I think the fact that guys like alex, malone are quiet gives people or some people here an idea to say well these guys don't speak up so they're not good enough...

Since I've played them both I will then, I know neither of them play that much anymore but they're both elite players easily...and unlike some others alex and malone(much like myself) don't NEED the glitches in this game to win matches.

In other words I don't consider us AC, 33 whores like some others here.

Now, some can say well different styles however what about the concept of "ground based" smart players being able to beat/keep up with players that master "the glitches" to win their games?

We have seen proof already of this concept recently. I can tell you right now that alex from what I remember well about him is one of those smart ground players that mixes up 50/50's well, and side steps well.

Malone similar style, he likes pokes, little moves to chip away at you as well as being a very smart parry player.

Yet how come nobody ever talks about these guys? Or bobby or pig? Mav or mesofly? Base519(good player that doesn't come here) is another good player.

And lets take a few other elements to REALLY prove just who is the best on here.

Only way that will happen is if we all met offline. Now why do I say that you ask?

Well, simple because there are players like eazy, red and groy that use the JK tactic...offline this isn't possible therefore my theory would be that this would automatically kill part of their JK into combo game. At least with eazy and red for sure.

Some might also say "lag" will play a role in these cases, some might not.

There's a few different elements you have to consider, different match ups, different styles vs. different players.

I see NO MKA player like MKD B N R who literally dominated the whole community and even so, I did much better then a lot did in that game against him with a 14-10 score this one time. I'll gladly take that lose and he pmed me with props afterwards saying most don't even get that close...

In MKA, if there's a player here who's literally beat the snot out of EVERY single player on here 15-0 then it must be the invisible man because I've yet to see the B N R of MKA.

Bobby is an elite with Sareena. But is Bobby an elite at MKA? I would say NO. Like I said, my context of Elite goes beyond just utilizing one character. It's about COMPLETE domination across he roster set available.

Does Bobby have my respect? Hell Yeah! But again, I would love him to see him try something new.

Here are the characters I personally would not use to judge an elite play:

Scorpion, Sareena, Drahmin, Noob, Quan, prolly Movado.... You guys know what I'm talking about!

actually, i only use jkick into combos or specials if i KNOW they will hit or if i see my opponent consistently isn't blocking after jkicks. otherwise, I'll fake kicks and go for 50/50 including throws. this works wonderfully offline. in other words, the jump game is still there- even though it's not for pulling off fancy combos (btw, they CAN be doneoffline, but there too hard to time well everytime)

15-0? well i HAVE been working on pulling off perfect rosters on folks(57-0; all characters except 5 bosses). believe it or not, I've pulled off a couple off of people who post or have posted here

on a bunch of series i've gotten close.

only traded series have been with Alex and Groy. I've overcome them and they've crushed me right back by 50-100% margins on eachother before (ie 15-10, 10-5 etc) i really would like to get some big series in with these guys. highest i believe has been first to 15.

the only others that have gotten very close to taking a first to 10 (or beyond) series are Pig and BurninOni. Pig actually took a series once, but (insert lame excuse here) we were supposed to be playing a full roster and he got to 10 first and left!! then he sent me the usual insulting messages by text

oh, and of course, there was Arcade, with whom i traded wins over and over until we were at 13-14 (him) then he had to leave. later he said he wanted to keep going, cause neither one of us could get a 2 win lead over the other- those were awesome!

South Elite and Quik are the only other guys who've taken a series from me. South Elite when the game first came out (he didn't fare well recently), and Quik when we played for tourney matches. ugh! the only time it mattered!! I still moved to the next round being that i had more wins, but i was never able to get my games in with alex and lost a coin toss to proceed.

@Bobby...Please dont take this disrespectfully. But I personally dont consider you an eilte. I consider you DAMN good. I think your Scorp is elite. I think that you exploit the impact of lag with Sareena and Noob. Not that its your fault or anything but it is what it is. Follow me on this for a sec. If Eazy, Pig, Groy, or Alex played on ANY connection better or worse it would still be obvioius that they were elite. i think if you played on another connection (especially with sareena) it would be another story. Plus you have a limited roster of 3 characters....2 of which seem to be aided by lag. If you were able to pull off what you do with a larger selection then I would say you were on that next level. Also those elite level players can win with almost anybody relying on pure skill. I couldnt tell you who Pig, Eazy or Groys trademark character is.....the reason being is because they win with anybody. i could pick their characters for them and they would beat me. I dont think that you are at the skill level to do that. But all that being said...YOU ARE DAMN GOOD.

@MKF...admit that you love the attention. It gives you a sense of importance. Also you use the word "greats" to loosely. I dont consider myself, Base519, Mesofly, Red or people at that level great. The greats who are currently active are: Pig, Eazy, Groy, Gerchap, Bobby, Jadedscorp, Indrid, Smokedout. Out of this group who have you been playing consistently. Who have you consistently beat.

Also MKF...you have replaced Red as the main "bad guy" ironically you did it by trying to be "good". Hell in the Phantom Zone it seems like General Zod has placed a bounty on your head requesting that anyone who is able to beat you should place a vid up on that shitty site. I dont want that bastard JTF to get the satisfaction....so for that reason and THAT reason only. I personally would request that you avoid playing Pighut.

Anyway, yeah it's funny how matches happen isn't it? I've beaten Alex, Malone, Dirty in this game...yet have trouble with you and pig, yet they have beaten you guys. Groy's beaten me by 4 the time we played which is nothing really.

Pig and you are the only players in this game to really pull away from me though as far as strickly MKA is concerned. Nobody else so in a way I feel good about that. In MKD there was only one player, we wayy back named aldagod who kicked the shit out of everyone on both consoles..I'm going way back, even before B N R days.

BTW, you're the only player so far within months literally that handles my Kabal really well. Nobody else on here handles him as good as you do, which is interesting.


South Elite I played a few times and beat him 7-2 and 9-3(one on each account) another time. Quik I've gotten the best of in MKD, saw him once on MKA challenged him and he rejected because he said he had a tourney match, never saw him again but he apologized for it later on. It was no biggy but I never played him in MKA, I have though in MKD.


So it's interesting to see different players match up differently.

But yeah GG's man, if you guys see me on baseball it's because I'm in a league on there and I also have friends that are sports buffs like myself that play.

To trax, probably one of the rare times I actually disagree with you lol. About the elite player thing, Bobby is pretty damn good with noob, scorpion and shinnok also but Sareena is near to unbeatable therefore that's elite level.

Similar concept with me in MKD, on xbox no dairou could match mine. I had a pretty damn good N/S not as good as B N R's but second I'd say for a while, doohoo's was good but I always beat him in MKD, Ermac and Kabal were my other two guys. I only used 4 guys in that game(a record lowest for me in any MK game) yet won often, very often.

Now, Bobby is the same thing if you ask me only in MKA. His noob is a pain, Scorpion is always good and Sareena is just insane.

Now, if you want to say elite players with certain characters then I think just about everyone here has someone. Example, Bobby with Sareena, Alex & Eazy with Hotaru, MKF with Fujin, Malone with Mileena, Pig with Cyrax etc, etc.

I think if a player has a character that they win very often with more often then lose with that has to be taken into consideration IMO.
If someone however picks a boss all the time or a KAK I don't feel the same since they have an edge over the regular characters obviously.

as far as Eazy I use to think that lag was a big part of his game. I use to think that the moves he does are impossible...until I did them. I just dont have the command that he does. He is JUST THAT DAMN GOOD. Listen Bobby if you have more than 2 laggy character and Scorp (who is also nasty) then i think you would be an elite. I view being an elite as being on a elite level of skill. not being able to perform a trick (ie Sareena).

Bobby, I don't think you fully read Maverick's post before that reply. No one here is denying that your Sareena is the don. But there 57 playable characters in this game. So I don't think there's logic to calling someone an Elite because they own a character who happens to be insane knife throwing Sareena is somewhat questionable.

Fuck dickryding man! I'm not affiliated with anyone here so I have no reason to wipe anyone's ass but if someone can utilize almost full roster and still own, I think that alone speaks volume about their skill level and gameplay dynamics.

Here are the characters I don't use to judge Elite status: Drahmin, Sareena, Scorpion. To own that status, you need to FIGHT! and none of the aforementioned need to sweat before winning.

Elites are awesome with 5+ characters. Thats my opinion. Is bobby elite with Sareena? Hell yeah. I do think bobby has a great Scorpion and Noob as well. So lets say he has to learn 2 more and he's in the books for sure :)

I think that being able to use a good portion of the roster at a high level makes someone elite. Also i dont think that you can judge skill with certain characters....namely sareena and drahmin. I wouldnt put scorp their, only because there are some decent counter picks to scorp (I prefer kabal or kobra) I dont think that drahmin or Sareena have good counterpicks...plus both characters seem to benefit most from lag.

As far as Bobby goes i think he needs a few more characters 2-3 and even the ability to win with mid-tier characters.

@Bobby...one more point. If i thought you sucked I would say it. You are not like horribleBlack who was a bad player who was good with the glitch. You have MAD SKILLZ all one has to do is play your Scorp to figure that out. But I havent seen you use mid-tiers. In some ways you are the polar opposite of me. I suck with the top tier characters... but I am good with mid-tiers (even some low tier). you are GREAT with top-tiers, but as of now I think you are inferior with ALL others. I cant hate on you for picking better characters than me to get good with. BUT...I cant get as good of a gauge of your skill level. Plus it has been that way for 2 games now.

But as some others here believe, mirrors will only prove things to a point...I honestly believe that it's how a person does against other characters in the game as well.
