I don't know, his face isn't seen, but by the body doesn't seem Liu Kang (I'm not sure, but I believe that it's Darrius). The other "pieces" are Hotaru, Shujinko, Raiden and Scorpion.

Now I am 95% sure.....when he bows in one of his motions he is wearing a red tanktop like Liu...almost sure it is him even though they said he is a zombie and ghost

He is playable

He's been confirmed for like 3 months now

It is Liu Kang, you can see him in the longest Chess Kombat vid. I'm almost 90% sure. He looks undead.

When The sorcerer kills the grunt with flames, he bows & it looks like a gray scale Liu Kang.

Is it rayden with Red eyes and a Hat?

Look at the leader on the team facing you (where a chess king would be - dead center back row). He is a man with dark pants & no shirt & a black mullet hair cut. In the pic above there is a glowing ball, but during the video he bows as a grunt is killed. No hat. Looks a lot like Liu.

The hat & red eyes = Raiden

I think it's him too. Looks like he is the same color as raiden.

Could be liu... it's not really visible, but to me it looks more like SMoke or Noob saibot... he does not have a red tank top.
BUT it looks like he has a head full of black hair... and if his skin is gray, he could be shirtless... another liu sign...
What I can't see is if he is wearing one of those ninja "skirts" that cover the front or those are liu's pants with a darker stipe in the middle (see pic)

It is alot more visible when u watch the video. As mentioned above, look at the point where Shujinko (spelling) kills the grunt. If you look at the questioned character(guy holding the orb of light) he takes a bow when shujinko kills the grunt. At that moment he looks alot like Kang.

i'm thinkin it could also be nightwolf, since they look alike. but i don't know since i don't know which video u're talkin about. could someone post a link plz??

I just watched the vids several times, and I think that it is Liu Kang in the King position. When he takes the bow after the grunt is killed, the character's likeness to Liu Kang is very strong. He definately has no shirt with just pants and he does have what appears to be a dark mullet. The skin tone is also reminiscent of the color of what I would think a zombie would look like.

I am pretty sure he has the red tank top as well..........which would stink cause he would have the same outfit he always had.......unless he looks dead ini with ripped clothes and all

YUES! ur right!!! he has the black mullet, and the classic Liu pants and shirtless

If you'll also notice,...whoever it is IS wearing wristbands of some sort.

First 2 pics are not retouched. Whereas the 3rd was enlarged 300% and sharpened.

AGREE!!! there is no red tank top.

I also thought at first that it was Noob or Smoke, but the costume looks to simple, and the chest is to light... not Noob, and he has black hair(I say it's hair because it's too big for a helmet, and it doesnt cover the face, like the ones the ninja's have).

I also agree that it is not Liu Kang. However on Raiden's bio. It shows that Liu Kang is one of His allies. and the speculation continues. How can Liu Kang be one of Raiden's allies if he is dead.

So mabe he is in the game after all.

Liu Kang has already been confirmed to be in the game. We just don't know that much about him yet.
