Is there a new recent pic of the Select Screen? How is everyone knowing who is now available from the start?

I have seen Bezou post on a couple different threads, and he is usually pretty intelligent and knows what he is talking about, and a couple other people have mentioned certain characters not being available at the beginning now. Is there a new select screen pic or something? How do they know?

Gamespot's hands-on preview named the 12 initially selectable characters from the select screen that they saw.
