No. MK:Armageddon is way better. It has a better Konquest mode, a fun Motor Kombat minigame, 64 playable characters, and a Kreate-A-Fighter mode. I also thought the Kreate-A-Fatality thing was quite fun too, though I do kinda miss the kharacter-themed Fatalities... sad

And, yeah, I guess I do kinda miss Puzzle and Chess Kombat, too. But there is also the Parry move, Air Kombat, and better deathtraps.

So, no, it's not worse, it's better.
...to ME it is. grin

Nuthing can top that Chess, and Racing mode in MK:D. Nuthing. That was loads of fun.

Deception is better.

Armageddon's arenas are better, the music is annoying, the roster: quantity over quality, and the gameplay is pure slop. The wake-ups are the only useful new inclusion.

Armageddon's replay value came only from the Create-A-Fighter mode.

Deception however, had lots of finishers to perform, a long-lasting adventure mode if you like exploring, better unlockables, and better mini-games. Plus it featured the darkest atmosphere an MK game has ever had, slightly better graphics, and better arenas.

I fully agree. MKA was alight when you first started playing but then it just got old quick. MKD's story was much better than the MKA one. MKD had atleast a story for the fighters as well as decent gameplay options. Overall MKD is better than MKA.

Only the combat system is better due to the wake-ups, mainly, since the parries suck and the air combat has the sloppiest animations ever.
