Okay first let me say that this is not any made up BS. I have no reason to make any of this up, and unlike many of the posts that I have seen up on MKO regarding SU's, I can assure you that this is by no means a posting just out to get some attention. What I will be sharing with you is being done for a reason, and that reason is because I know that if all of us here work together to get to the bottom of this; specifically trying to figure out what this SU is, the faster we can get to this goal, but only by working as a team! Okay, so here goes...
I have been working (more like begging) on getting some information for sometime now regarding MKD and the SU's in the game. A very (VERY) reliable source at Mw, that I have dealt with in the past (and I can't give any names so please don't ask.), has finally given me some info (or at least some very credible clues/hints).
Now I don't know if you will consider this to be something major, but I do
1. According to my source there are other UL/SU's in the game. So Boon was not being truthful with us.
2. We are to pay more attention to a few things like TALKING TO ALL THE CHARACTERS IN THE GAME MORE THAN JUST ONCE, THE YEAR, TRAINING, and THE EARTHREALM VILLAGE.
When I asked if one of these things being the key to something big, I was given a "yes." Now let me clarify that my source would not give me anything specific other than that, and even though I tried sharing some of my theories for a hot or cold remark, I was told that is all that they could do. I was told this is the best and only hints/clues I could be given without getting him/her into trouble.
Okay, so now what? I know this information could apply to so many things so what can it all mean. I think if we all work together and brainstorm, shoot some idea’s out, and work on a “to do list” so that we can start crossing things off that list, we can all get to our goal faster; or at least this will give us a list of things we know that don’t work. Anyway, for those of you, who feel the need to flame or discount my information, blast away. “It wont bother me none!” But for those of you who are at least curious and willing to give this whole thing a shot, let’s get started ASAP.
So now where do we go from here? My guess would be for all of us to get a “to do list” going. Anyone have any ideas on how these clues/hints can be significant?? (Even the most absurd response is worth trying out)
“Remember to think like a gamer or a game developer who has lots invested in the success of this game” – this is a quote given to me by my source. I think it says a lot, don’t you? It might even be a hint in itself!

The problem is we have the entire dialouge for all the realms in Konquest, all the items from Konquest, and all of the triggers in Konquest from Hex editing the files.

OMG!!! How can I have almost left this out: *** "we must inspect every nook and cranny meticulously. " *** This is something I was also told but forgot to add. My bad! Anyway, that's it. So who wants to shoot some ideas first? I will gather some of my theories and post them up later. Let's get to it!!!!

REPLY to: The problem is we have the entire dialogue for all the realms in Konquest, all the items from Konquest, and all of the triggers in Konquest from Hex editing the files.
Okay, so let me get this right...
1. We know what everyone in the game pretty much says?
If this is true, have we all tried to talk to everyone more than just a few times? I guess what I am getting at is, maybe after continuously pressing the action button we will eventually get a different response. I know I have not tried this. I will usually press the action button two or maybe even three times but that's it.
2. We supposedly have all the items collected.
How do we know that we have all the items? Are we sure that there isn't something else is date (specifically year) related. Maybe something has to trigger some sort of item to pop out.
3. Game has been cracked.
Now as far as the Hex edit files go, I really don't know how to go about that. Has anything in those files brought up any red flags??

Usually I think of 'inside sources' as absolute bs,but this one sounds plausable. No real proof given is a down side, but no real info given is believe it or not a good sign.If you came running in saying exactly how to find,say...Rain,then I would know it was bull. With this,no names given, not even any locations or times.Im not gonna do this until it is proven though, cause I really dont feel like possibly wasting my time like that.If its true, good for you,if its not,BAD!Looking forward to further info though, see if people can...but you really shouldnt say its a fact, because while it may be to you,it isnt to anyone else...yet.

Lets imagine for a moment there is an iota of truth to this and then consider the almost endless possibilities.
Now I have that negativity aside I will say getting back to the Earthrealm village is probably the key to something big. It may have to do with getting into other inaccessible areas as well like that temple/building in Edenia that Sindel hangs around.
For what it's worth I am thinking maybe a secret bridge in the Netherealm to Cage and his opponent may pop up on a certain date and year but who knows. Sorry for straying from the topic.

I do think there is SU no doubt its just gonna be very very very hard to find until we get some serious clues. Basically nobody has any idea of what to do first. I do think that Quan Chi has a good possiblty of being one. There is tons of stuff on him in the Krypt as well as he is a main character in the begining. And Nobody has a clue on what happens to him? ANyway what about that place in the village where you have to be a monk to get into. Anybody remeber that i swear its in the village. I think getting back to the village has a very very good chance of being what you have to do. Maybe you have to play so long get up there in the years and complete everything. Then find the right person to talk to saying follow me back to the village and there you have it. But i do recall that monk place in the village.

Since we have all the dialouge theres nothing that we would get by talking to people in terms of an SU
Since we know all the triggers, there is nothing we could get by triggering something
Since we know all the items, there is nothing left we havent seen. Based on the Fight Night chat, we now know that the Ninja star, Raidens staff, and the keys mean nothing.
There are only 3 things that were mentioned in all the konquest files we havent seen yet.
There is a line that refers to fighting Drahmin, Mokap and Kitana, which we havent seen yet.
But we know that if we beat them it wouldnt trigger reciving an item.

That's the issue here, how do you know for sure that we have triggered everything, and found everything? You don't, plain and simple. In fact I know we haven’t found everything. Like I said earlier, I have already been told this to be the fact, we have not found everything! Have you or others played past year 00? Have you or others checked every spot on every day and time; I don’t think so. No one has done that, it's impossible by our selves, but by working together it can be possible to know for sure. And as far as what was said at fight night, I am not going by what was said. I now know that not all of what was said is fact or reliable. I don't know about you, but I know, and have personally dealt with Ed Boon in the past. I know well enough not to take what all of what he says as being trustworthy or credible. You have to remember this one thing: Besides making the games, they (Midway) are in the business to sell them. How do you think they do that? If they keep us interested, we then spread the word, then others get interested, more sales are made, everyone especially Mr. Boon and the investors are happy. Secrets and Deception is what is driving the sales for this game.
Look, all I know is that the hints/clues I was given, and who they were given to me by are very reliable. If you are going to diss me, or think otherwise of what I was told, that's on you. Don't participate, and move along your marry way to the next thread. As far as I am concerned this thread is for the serious minded, real gamers, who are really interested in finding out for themselves if there are really any UL/SU's (which there are, so lets find them!).

In any case, maybe. Lets think of something someone said during fight night. I vaguely remember them saying something about how hard it is to hide stuff SINCE people have been cracking the game code and what not.
From what I know about programming, It is easy to direct a file in one spot to appear like it is in another. So maybe that is the case? Maybe boon hid some stuff right in the Area 51 folder? Maybe he hid some character models with in some background information?
I know that the characters, kitana and Drahmin, have models that are playable in the game..
Maybe we should all wait 8 days?
the release date for the pal copies are comming up and as someone said.. . why would they want to release some secret character information when the game has only been out in the US...

To be honest, from what you've said that THEY said xPROx, i believe they didn't necesarilly understand your question! All of those clues they gave you amount to one thing. "play Konquest" That's all, who played Konquest and didn't do all those things, Inspect every nook, talk to everyone more than once, keep an eye on the year! Etc!
It's toov ague, i don't think it's BS ,i justthink your "source" was, essentially telling you, that to find something to unlock you've got to do everything. lol!

Sorry, this was not given to me in writing. This was via phone conversation. Come on now, use your noggin. This person could get into some serious trouble if some how this was traced back to them. The best I can do, is give you my word, which I know is hard to take since you and I don't know each other. Either way take it or leave it. What I know is that I am not BS’ing anyone here. Why would I even waist my time to do all this, and especially be active in the search with all of you. Let's really think about this now, why waist my own time?
Anyway, back to the subject at hand...
I just started konquest over (for the fourth time). I have made some notes regarding some of the things in the village. Now let me point out something, this time around I have really tried to focus and hit this whole thing from a different angle. Keeping what was told to me in mind, and applying some rational reasoning, I searched for anything out of the ordinary or different. You know what I mean; I am just trying to be more aware of things here.
Here is what I got, along with a hypothesis on some of the things I found:
1. There are lots of doors. Some you can get into, some you can't. Some let you know they are locked, others don't tell you a thing. Some you can unlock, others you can't. Okay, so hear me on this, we know that there are some keys on this stage that open some locked doors, than why can't we find keys to unlock the others (or are there any that will)? I also noticed that we are very limited as to what we can carry (am I right on this, can I get an amen?). This time around in konquest I have every thing filled in my collection except for one spot. I have also noticed (like many of you) that some of the keys match the colors of the coins.
2. I went ahead and did something different this with regards to the missions. What I did first was completed the training's first (except the last one where you leave the town) so that I could get that all of the way. I then went back and completed the side missions in the process I have talked to the people more than once, and pretty much get the same response. Except one time after completing all the training, and missions, and running around like a crazy fool, it is at point A-6 where the guard says to me..."There is an old woman in town who you can benefit from greatly, if you see her speak to her." I don't remember this the other times I did konquest so if someone knows this to be nothing new, please correct me on this.
3. I noticed after talking with the town’s people that there seems to be a theme in what they are telling me. To me, it is sort of a yin and yang, something good or not so good. When I first start konquest, I walk up to the old lady with the gold key, and the first thing she says is "you seem to me like a good boy..." or another person will say something else which implies something along the same lines, or even when I go to someone else and they tell me I should really train hard and long. I think you get what I am getting at. The hints seem to be going some where here; at least to me it seems that way, especially this time around.
4. There was someone that just mentioned it in this thread earlier, the monk temple. I also noticed that this time around. There are lots of people who make comments about the monk temple. When I go over to the temple, I get the same thing..."only monks can enter the temple." There definitely something there.
5. Finally, spirits, monsters, and ghosts - what have you? When I talk to certain people in the game they tell me to watch out for spirits, monsters, or even others from different realms. Now I know there are some people whizzing by, like styker, or scorpion etc. but then I get towards the end of town and I get this character telling me that kids see spirits at night and he is investigating. I have no idea what this means so figure maybe I should meditate a while and see if I see anything. So I do this and see nothing, but after doing that for a while, I later go back to him and talk to him again. This time he says something to the extent of "If you want to see these spirits you really should be prepared first,” wtf, that is something else I have not heard him say before, at least I can't recall.
Okay so now then, with all these notes to myself, I go back and review and then realize that I am on to some thing, some sort of trend if you know what I mean.
Hypothesis: First, have any of you ever played Onimusha, the 2nd one, where everything you do affects the outcome. Well I am beginning to think this is something similar. You see, something I notice that I did different this time was not getting the coins in the houses. Now that I look back on this, it seems to me that I was getting different responses. What if, okay, what if, you are supposed to do the right thing and not the wrong things?
For example: what if you collected only coins outside, nothing from insides since that would be considered stealing. What if you did not go around punching people who did not deserve it, like let say the old lady with the key, or even the man who has the wedding ring for instance (I would consider that something significant). What if by doing this, this some how triggers something else? Remember the question mark, the one that knocks you out and the boy runs over and even tells you:
"You should not get everything"
Are you guys seeing my point here???
Here is another one, lets say you only

Here, take a look at this site. It has the entire dialouge of every realm in Konquest, all the missions, items, triggers.
There is nothing in Konquest that has anything with SU's.

OMG! Okay, listen to me; I was very specific in everything I asked. Especially to anything that we did not already find out for ourselves or know about through other sources. So trust me when I say that, this person knew what I meant. It's not like I barely met them or just fairly know them. I know this person very well.
So I will say this again * and this will be the last * I have dealt lots with this person before (on this, and other games) and was given accurate information in the past so I really do know they are not BS'ing me.
So I say again, you are either in or out. I am not here to waste your time or my time, especially to keep on typing out these Novels on this thread.
So are we going to work on this together or do I have to do this alone??

First, thanks to Kombatcommando for the dialogue link! Although there is a lot of dialogue, it’s not all of it, there seems to be some things that are not listed. And too bad the persons description is not listed either, so that we can know who is saying what.
Second, this again proves my source, and my thoughts on this to be right!
Here is some of that dialogue, notice the trend??? * I gave my own description, of who I knew said what.
Guardsmen by door: I should not be telling you this, but there is an elderly woman in town from whom you can benefit greatly...If you see her, speak with her..I have already said too much to you. Go on now..We should not be talking anymore. I have already said too much..Please go -- I should not have told you that....
Man at front of park: Hello, how are you?.We have a temple here in the village....When you have proven yourself to us you will be allowed to enter....How do I prove myself?..You must speak to the guards at the temple gate....OK, I will speak with them. Goodbye....
Guardsmen: Beware sir, there are consequences to your actions..
Man searching for ring: I cannot believe that I pawned my wedding ring to pay my debts.... Now my wife will not talk to me....
I do not have enough money to buy it back from the merchant to whom I sold it...But if someone could get my ring back for me,...I would gladly reward him with what I money have left...I hope I can get my wedding ring back somehow...My wife is very mad. She will not even talk to me...You found it! How did you...? Never mind. I do not want to know.... Here is the reward I promised you. It is all the money I have left..Thank you again for returning my ring to me....
Wife with lost ring: Did my loan shark send you?.My husband makes me so mad! He pawned his wedding ring to pay for his gambling debts!...I am not speaking to him!...My mother warned me not to marry him....
I guess gambling is more important to my husband than our marriage..My husband told me he fought many men to get his wedding ring back!
He is so brave! Now I know why I married him!...
Bullied boy: My father says fighting never solves anything. I guess he was wrong!....
Boy with lost house key: My parents will kill me if someone uses my key to rob our house....
Take this key to my parents' hut...There should be a reward for you inside.... here. Take this...
Man across sick boy: Hello there, Shujinko. How are you doing today?.It was very kind of you to help the child across the street....
Have you noticed that child across the road? He does not look well..Maybe you should see if there is something you can do for him...I am still concerned for that young one over there..Please, go see if you can help that child...What do you suppose is wrong with him?..By helping that boy, you are on your way to becoming a local hero...
??: The gods take a dim view of senseless violence..
??: You should be ashamed...Be careful -- there are consequences to your actions...
Old women with hut key: Well, hello there! You look like a nice young man...Please excuse me, but I have to go put my money in a safe place....
It is probably not too safe for an old woman to keep her valuables at home...
??: I am sorry, but I must be going back to the monastery...Your aggression will be your downfall...Some people say that there is a realm where there is nothing but chaos..Oooh! Look at the time! I must be going now!....
??: You hit me! What did I do to deserve THAT?..You know, to be proficient in martial arts, one must endure many years of intense training..I do not think I can endure any more of your chatter....
Man looking for strange lights: Many children have seen strange glowing lights in this part of town....
I must investigate the children's sightings of strange glowing lights...
??: The guards will hear of your unprovoked aggression!.Shujinko, be wary. Lately this area seems haunted by strange spirits....
??: I will see to it that you are banished from this town forever!..Shujinko!
Man looking for vases: If you are interested in making a few koins, then I have a job for you..There is a vase lost somewhere in this town that is worth a lot of money to a client of mine....
If you help me find it, I will cut you in on the profit. I mean, reward....
Just bring it to me if you find it..Haven't found the vase yet, eh? Neither have I. We should keep looking..I'm sure the vase is in this part of town somewhere....
Yes! This is it! You stole... I mean found... the vase!.You have saved me quite a lot of trouble....
As promised, here is your share of the... uh... reward..I gave you your reward, now leave me alone..
??: The walls of this town are here for a reason: to protect the citizens from foreign dangers..
NOTE: Damashi himself deceives Shujinko

Okay, now here me out, I am only making an educated guess on this but I think our actions in the game affect the outcome. This is why we are not able to go back to the village, or go to the monk temple, open certain doors, go to certain areas, or even go back and find things we missed once we have already completed conquest.
From what I can tell of all this, there does seems to be some correlation with your actions. Like my source said, focusing on Talking to people, Years, Training, and the village all are very important clues in finding this UL. So if you look at all of this and put it together it does make sense.
I majored in the sciences, and worked in a lab before. In science, as everyone knows, you have to apply certain steps in order to go from one step to the next. I pretty much have applied all of this to this situation and can thus confidently form a good hypothesis about all of this.
