I don't think it makes sense at all for them to get married. It's not like there's ever been a hint to them ever getting together in the MK series, not even in the movies. It wouldn't make sense to me if they just got married out of the blue. One question though; why does it make sense to you? Because they're partners in law enforcement?

I'd go with Sonya and Jax before Sonya and Cage. The way I see Sonya's relationship with Cage is, Sonya's kind of a bitch to Cage, but Cage thinks and acts like Sonya wants him and won't admit to it, but she really has no interest in him.

But overall I say, fuck the romantic subplots.

Yeah, there's never really been any indication that there's some kind of romance between them. I think that Sonya should have a bit of a dark side to her and seduce both of them and make them try to destroy each other.

If you are talking about Jax you are right. But there has been romance with cage in the movies, comics and games.

well 'to death do us part' couldnt fit better since both will prolly be dead by the time MK7 is out...its long overdue

like all fighting games, notice i said 'fighting'...not 'loving', soap opera elements (relationship-wise) should be excluded, the series is from the land of the heartless, love just dont belong

if anyone does fall in 'love' in the game, i hope they get killed off immediately like Liu Kang dead...and yes, I feel this way with every character...

Cyrax is awesome. But Sonya and Jax have been around A LOT more then him. Cyrax COULD maybe beat Jax, but Sonya??? She is A CLASSIC! Not for nothing she has lived this far. Sonya would kill cyrax or Mileena anytime.

Anyway, I think Sonya should go for the bad guy like Kano. It'd be an interesting twist.

I see Jax and Sonya in a relationship more than Sonya and Johnny Cage.

Johnny Cage is a Hollywood superstar who was married then divorced. He already knows what the ladies are like and is probably happy as a batchelor now that he is single again. I do agree that Johnny Cage thinks Sonya is attracted to him and he is arogant on the fact that she is not. Sonya could probably have a dislike to Cage's unserious attitude but probably developed a friendship with him in the first Mortal Kombat when she relized Johnny Cage isn't all about fun and games.

Now Sonya has been Jax's partner for over 10 years.. 10 YEARS! and nothing happened between the two? I think Sonya and Jax developed a relationship for each other and trust each other with their own lives. This probably turned into a love and are secretly hiding their feelings to each other because of business and the threats they always recieve.

Cage I think would probably fall for someone else from another realm, mabey Nitara or someone from Edenia, who knows?
