Screw Johnny Cage.Kobra looks like a much better character.

Johnny Cage rocks!
He is one of the most original and powerful characters of Mk. Many love him like many hate him.
He has lots of potential, he only needs a new storyline.

I don't know about original. He seems to be the token smart ass american. However I think it's F'ed up there removing popular chars!

Gameplay wise, Johnny Cage is very powerful. He kicks alot of ass in MK2 if you use him right.
I agree with Queve, like I did many times in the past. Johnny Cage is an original character, around since the ol' days of when Mortal Kombat first came out. I respect that character and I am slightly disapointed that he is not in this game.

The "fill in" characters looks awesome this time around. It totally looks like Kobra can fill in for Johnny, Darrius can totally fill in for Jax, Kira can fill in for Kano and Sonya. Kabal deserves to be back, man fuck Mavado. Oh yeah fuck Johnny too, he was crappy in MKDA. Combos were terrible, his weapons fit him but they totally should have copied Soul Calibur 2 with that dudes moves. Oh yeah Johnny you arn't supposed to stop swinging your "chucks" man. You keep them moving cause if you don't you lose the momentum.

Johnny Cage is cool, but I can live without him until the next one.
Liu Kang is a pretty good trade, I think. And Kobra is cool. He reminds me of the bad guys from Karate Kid. It'll be fun to kick him in the head a few times! LOL.

I have nothing against johnny Cage infact he was my second favorite character in mk1. Sonya obviously was and is my all time favorite character. Anyways I wouldn't be to mad if they fixed him up and made him great like he used to be for mk7. It would be cool if he shows up though.

I found Johnny Cage's Jeet Kune Do combo attacks very good. Johnny Cage's weapon style was not really that good, but neither was Sub-Zero's and he gets praised in that game.
I love the classic characters and I can't stand to see new characters fill in their place. If there are new characters, they should have their own unique look and above all their own unique moves and styles.
Kobra could never fit in for Johnny Cage, he is nothing like Johnny Cage, the only thing they have in common is perhaps a look. I definatley don't agree with you on your post.

yeah ive always been a JC fan but I can do without himm this time I think he needs time to "wake up" from lala land and get a new purpose to be in mk other than to make another cheesy movie. Like go by John Carlton his real name or something. Just food for thought?..

MAYN, straight up and down, Johnny Cage was a cocky ass character, people always got mad when i beat them with him from MK1 to DA. Kobra just looks like a fake ass Johnny Cage, I thought he was him...

He's my favorite character. Though I'm honestly glad Liu Kang got another chance, I'd rather have Cage. Cool moves, coll fatalities. The only reson some people dislike him is his story--big whoop. Scorpion's story sucks, but he's still around. Of course, since he's a good guy, some people won't like him for that reason alone. Notice how people hated Kobra until they found out he was evil and not related to Cage? They don't even know why they hate him. To be honest, everyone I honestly know besides on these forums loves him...... and hates the roster for Deception.

I cant stand Kang. They said hes only in for a joke. Thats why we have Bo Rai Cho now. Worse then Cage, uglier then Cage, fatter then Cage, and worse then Cage. With Bo Rai Cho in, we don't need Cage.

Cage isn't my favorite character, I just like em alot. I think he is very nescisary, He's like the Nelly of MK: like jus cuz Nelly aint spittin all that shoot em up bang bang, all the fellas hate on em. Johnny's the pretty boy of the cast, that's why it so much more cooler to woop somebodies ass with him
oh and Bo Rai Cho got ta be da corniest character in MK, da hell is u talkin bout...always got a fat guy in every fightin game, he ain't no different

i always thought he was cool, and i always thott he wud be a great earth warrior, but they never really gave him a good story......he didnt really have rivals and stuff, and wasnt too important....hes really cool tho

Cage completely made the first movie. It was like they decided to make him uber-awesome, the complete opposite of his ingame counterpart.

Cage should return. All chosen Earth fighters should return. Make everyone happy.

As it is, Cage never really fit into mortal kombat to me, he was the most out of placed character in the series. Yet, that made him intruiging.
I think he should return, but I won't be too terribly upset, now that he's gone.
His moves did not fit him, maybe except for the ball breaker, if he comes back BRING THAT BACK!
