As long as he's in MK7 game I'll be fine with that, but if hes not then I'll be pissed as hell!! It will be awesome to see him on the next gen consoles. He's my favorite character but his storyline sucks and he needs a new one. Hopefully this time it will be about the MK universe.

I think he's one of the "Earth's Warriors" that's been captured or how ever the Deception story goes. He already died what like 3 times and has been brought back.

Anyway, I don't really like Johnny Cage that much. He's always been a decent fighter in my view. I never considered him to be very powerful and yes, I have looked carefully into the way he fights.
Storywise, well...I've always felt that it's been less than mediocre. If only his storyline were a lot better, but in my opinion, there's no point in him returning. He should've just stayed in Earthrealm. I hope he'll die again but this time stay dead.

He's my all time favorite character, next being stryker, kabal and cyrax, but I'm mad johnny cage isn't in either. He is the man! I jsut hope, that whenever they make the final MK game, that the 7 original MK1 characters are in the game (also Goro and old man Shang Tsung), that is what I would like. One last run with the 7 priginal characters all in 1 game. Granted all 7 were in MK trilogy as well as Goro, but i want all 9 i mentioned in full 3d glory, im sure it'll go back to its roots soon, its already damn close with the really nice range of characters and with the return of kabal, mileena, baraka, and jade (not sure if she was in MK:DA, i barely played it cuz I didn't like it very much nor did i like MK 4 much either).
but MK deceptioin is leaps and bounds above MK DA and MK 4 it would seem so I'll be glad to play it. MK trilogy is my favorite, but my favorite original game is MK 2 then MK3/UMK3, but deception is gonna rule, plain and simple. Tons of level fatalities, interactive and big levels, 2 fatalities AND a hara kiri for each character 24 known characters with possibly 6 super unlockable characters, puzzle kombat, chess kombat, and konquest mode, all on top of the regular arcade/story mode and versus mode found in all MK games, the unlockable MK Koffins with goodies inside, Xbox live ability for puzzle, chess and versus mode, special edition gets an arcade perfect MK 1 port, and the cool fact that all the mk characters from every single game, different costumes (for those in multiple games). I mean if thats not reason enough for anyone remotely fond of ANY MK game thus far to want this game, then I honestly don't know what else to say. Everyone who likes so much as 1 MK game SHOULD OWN this game, nuff said.

I know its unlikely, but i really hope hes kobra incognito. Would help his story out.

I am pretty livid that Johnny Cage isnt in MKD. He has my favorite move, the nut punch, that alone not in MKD will leave me somewhat sad.
