I think he is just there.

Not playable.

He is also in his Mk2 look from a balcony in the Dead Pool Mk2 level.

No, because he's also in the Deadpool background in his MK II outfit.

I dont think chess kombat can be considered part of the MKD storyline. Its just there for more gameplay value, fun, online, and old school nostalgia.

i noticed how nice the graphics and the fight looked...besides the ugly HIT EXPLOSIONS...everything looks so smooth until you see a big ugly red bloch out of nowhere. i do see now that they are counter hits but some fights..probably against a difficult player, may be all counter hits and all you see is red bloches all over the place...i really hope they take this out.

I don't like the red sparks either, I hope they either give an option to turn it off or take it away completely. It seems kinda cartoony, something out of a comic book like when someone gets hit.

I also noticed that Shang Tsung was sitting in the throne in that video.

I think the only reason Shang Tsung is there is because the developers have listened to our ideas of revamping the classic stages and it pays tribute to us.

I am flattered to know that the developers would add that in to please many of the classic fans. I also wanted to ask if anyone saw those screen shots of the jail level with the characters such as Fujin, Drahmin, and Jarek were behind bars in a jail cell?

Will the Dead Pool have a death trap?

I think I read some where that most of the areas in MK: D will have a dreath trap or stage fatality. I could be wrong of course but I think I read it some where :.\

yea, the sparks should be taken out...*sob*
i did read that someone was at e3 and one of the creators said that it was just somethin they were experimenting with.... let's hope that they realize how unpopular it is and they take it out.

*shrug* the red energy from powerful hits does not bother me. mk has never and will never be a virtua fighter, i.e. a fighter that strives for realism. the more flare and flash they wanna add to the match the better. as if its not "cartoony" to bounce a fighter off the ground or uppercut them. its also cartoony for fighters to just stand there while their arms or legs are ripped off and let the other fight knock their head off.
