I dont think that that is the BrotherHood of Shadows mark on his boots, it doesnt look anything like the BoS marks that have been on Sareena, Reiko(I think he was in BoS) or Noob in the past. I reckon its smoke, as his body is tranparent...coz he's made of smoke.
