I do have quite an imagination. Not to mention that it's 4:33 in the morning and the coffee is flowing! I did notice that Kahn is much larger than Havik, but remember, alot of people thought that Reiko was Kahn for a time. Reiko was actually a body double for Kahn. Reiko wasn't that large either.

As for the Rotten face, I can't account for that totally. Remember, Kahn did get his ass whipped by Quan Chi and Shang Tsung. God knows how bad they kicked his ass.

What was the deal with the whole Reiko thing? who exactly was he? What was his story?

ok, seriously...some imaginations, haha...Havik comes from the realm of Chaos or whatever, basically his name is a play on HAVOC...since it can't be too blatant they made him Havic...but it's mortal kombat so the c becomes a k. And for you own edification...Mavado's original name was to be MALVADO...but Ed Boon figured the spanish players would think the name stupid, because MALVADO means "bad guy" in spanish (Ed Boon is hispanic). Furthermore, Bo'Rai Cho...the drunken master...well BORRACHO means "drunkard" in spanish, and that is what boraicho is in the game, a drunk. But it can't be to obvious so his name was changed. Havik is not Kahn.

I agree that it is a very far stretch MD, but I saw the info in one of KenshiMaster16's threads and I figured that I'd comment on it. His thread was closed so I made a new one. He has a pretty good track record with his info. I'm not saying that he's right, but who knows.

You're right super2vejita, there has been alot of name-play in the MK universe. But who knows, I guess I just want Kahn in really badly.

Isn't Hotaru an enemy of Darrius? And Havik is an ally of Darrius. Hasn't Hotaru sided with Onaga because he believes he'll bring order to the realms. Wouldn't that make Hotaru an enemy of Havik also? So I believe that Kahn would hate Hotaru as well. Not as much as the 3 previously mentioned, but he would be an enemy.

I don't think this name has anything to do with it but Havik still could be Khan. The makers aren't restricted with size issues in the MK universe so I don't think that matters.
OT (1) - I used to seriously think Li Mei might be Mileena back in the MKDA days. Every letter in Li Mei's name is in Mileena. Also both wore the same colour and both used sais.
OT (2) - I used to think the so called final secret of MKDA centred around Drahmin somehow. Drahmin spelled backwards was nim (not in mask) hard (as in hard difficulty). Also he was the most expensive unlock in the Krypt. The biggest coincidence of all was that if you multiply 12 x 43 (remember the 12:43 clue?) well that was how many koffins from the bottom that Drahmin was in.

Yeah, and Hotaru was initially in Outworld to defeat Shao Kahn, so if Havik is Kahn, it would make sense if Hotaru is Havik enemy too...

What is it with MK fans and insisting that new characters must secretly be old characters? We've seen this constantly since MK4 yet it's never happened. The way people act you'd think it was something the MK team does frequently.
I think it really shows how shoddy the new character design has been since John Tobias left.
Look at MKD. There's Jax = Darrius, Kobra = Cage, Kira = Sonya, and now Havik = Kahn. 4 out of the 8 new characters in MKD have wild theories about them being old characters. Half the roster!

the problem is, if Kahn came back from the "dead", he would have wanted to hunt down those that killed him and that would be Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. Of course, i don't think he would have known that both of them wouda died and because of that, he still may continue to hunt them down. Kahn making enemies with Hotaru is unlikey at all, and him being an ally of Darrius is even more unlikely. Kahn himself is a ruler, and now he wants to fight his own rule ? i think Darrius wanted to fight Kahn's oppressive ruling but of course, Kahn was dead.

Well the Drahmin thing I reasoned had something to do with his stance that his mask was off and in hard difficulty obviously.
I gave up in the end. That whole Final secret thing was probably blown out of proportion anyway.

And I imagine that thread was closed for a reason...the reason should have been this is one of the most far fetched ideas I've heard yet. We have nothing to back it up (don't even bother to say nothing to disprove it because then you're opening a new door for more pointless "theories"). How many think it is possible that a new character is created who is not just a disguise as someone else. Let's look at all the characters right now that were also other people in the MK saga:

and as far as Reiko being Kahn's body double, I would love to know where that was taken from because the only mention we ever have of Reiko is in MK4 and the Kahn=Reiko theory (which is 100% false by the way)
