I wouldn't nearly go that far. I just base my speculation on my knowledge of MK's past and the information we get from official channels. I don't listen to rumours or theories unless they have a basis in what we know to be true. It's served me well.

Alright, whats your personal opinion on Kahn? do you think he is in or out? He has to be in somewhere because didn't they say that EVERY mk character would make an appearance in konquest or something?

My take on Kahn is that he'll be in Konquest and may play a role in several storylines. I have my doubts as to his playability, unless he was severely weakened.

But yeah, the main reason I can't see him as the sub-boss is because I can't see him playing second fiddle to anyone, ever.
My personal opinion on him? I love Shao Kahn, he's in my top 5 favourite MK characters of all time (Sindel, Shang, Kahn, Liu Kang, Sub-Zero)

I suppose your right. Kahn will always be the #1 bad ass of MK. it would just be nice to see him in 3d. And in a different costume.

Maybe MK7. Boon and company know how much people like Shao Kahn. I'm sure they'll bring him back sooner rather than later.

Boon needs to listen to fan comments more than he does. Im serious, if they would base MK more on exactly what fans want, it would be jaw dropping. I mean dont get me wrong, they are doing great, but there are still so many things i would love to see in MK. In fact, im making a post about it now.

Lol, it depends on WHICH fans you talk to. Some of us here have a very good idea on where the series should go from here. This includes story, gameplay, etc. And other fans just want their favorite character back, which is great and all, but sometimes not as beneficial to the progression of the franchise.

That's true. For every tgrant there seems to be ten "Bring back Kitana/Styrker/Rain/Shang/Quan Chi/Meat/etc" people.

Ah, but here's the problem. To them, we all look like goobers. People like tgrant and even the gameplay nazis have tremendous ideas, but how does the development team know who they are? There's thousands of threads posted here. They can't very well sift through them all.

Oh geez...he's such a powerhouse I'm not even sure he'd have a style. His MK2/3 style was shoulder dash you to death in four hits.

This may be cheesy, but I think Brazilian Jiu Jitsu suits him slightly. I am a big fan and practice it myself so i think that it would be cool to see Kahn throw someone down and arm bar them until something snaps...

I really don't see him as a grappler. Though, perhaps if he was in a weakened state they could pull it off. You know, even something like Sumo might suit him, just because he's big and powerful.
But he'd have to be in a weakened state.

Sumo is worthless. So since you are pretty big on Shao being ultra powerful, how do you suppose 2 measley sorcerers took him out? I would imagine myself that he could have taken them both out fairly quickly. I guess we will see in a little more than a month. Or next week if the guide comes out.
