Kano has actually DIED once and was RESURRECTED...but do you really want him dead???
Well, I just remember in Sonyas and his Konquest it says something that his dead body was found by Motaro and resurrected by him (Motaro), to later receive Torture from Shao Kahn for not killing the Special Forces agent.
I posted that cause many people seem to ignore this little fact stated in deadly alliance.
But, do you want to see Kano again? Or do you think its time for a new Era of dragons??? The RED dragons???
Kano has always been one of my favorites, I probably dont want him to die, but I DO want him to rest for a game and let the red dragons be reborn.

I loved kano in mk1... hasn't been one of my favorites for awhile though... and if he is dead i think he should stay dead i dont' like every dead character coming back.. leaves no suspense or sense of danger when someone dies.. because they will be back again... death is meaningless if everyone returns from the dead... and in mk you need some deaths and it helps the story... if he does come back though i wno't be angry about it because i do like kano.. but like you said should give him a rest and let the red dragons have the spotlight for now... but still should stay dead... but if they gotta bring someone back let it be kano and not liu kang or johhny...

Kano is cool. Hes one of the original bad guys. Cunning, manipulative, and decieving. I really like him as a chracter, although I am not sure if I want him in MKD. MKD is shaping out to be a game that is giving the spotlight to overlooked characters. I just think if Kano is added, it will take the spotlight away. I hope he does come back in MK7, but I think he and some of the originals should sit out on this one.

Exactly how I think. But I guess I would like to see Kano finally die, killed by Sonya or Mavado at the end.

I thought he was only mortally wounded, not dead. But, I'm probably wrong; my memory sucks so bad...
Anyway, Kano is one of my favorites, so I hope he doesn't die. If there is one thing Kano is good at, it's keeping himself alive no matter what he has to do or who he has to betray and kill. I doubt that Kano is gone for good.
I can see him staying gone for a while though; when they bring back Shao Kahn(when, not if), Kano should come with him.

No your not wrong, JCAll. Queve, Motaro found Kano's body "near death" and healed him fully so that he could suffer at the hands of Shao Kahn. He wasn't dead, just on his way. It probably said he was dead in Sonya's Konquest because from her point of view he was, she probably didn't know he survived the fall.. But in Kano's it definately says something like he was near death and Motaro healed him.
LOL

Kirby killed Kano...

Kano was awesome. He would fit well into the whole "decieving" story, because hes one of the biggest decievers in MK. I would be glad to see him in MKD.

NO! lol, i think kano should do what he always does and sits out a game, he sat out of mk2 and mk4, maybe he should kill off the red dragon (so far every member of it SU-UCKS!)and sit out, then come back with a new, revamped storyline.

Well, he didn't really sit out mk4. Jarek was a megarip-off and the only difference he had with Kano, was the fact that he's still got both of his eyes.
Kano's cool, he's the ultimate deceiver. He betrayed Sheeva, which lead to her death. Then while Quan Chi and Shang Tsung were fighting Shao Kahn, Kano hid in the shadows, waiting to see who won to then alliance with them. So in fact, he's responsible for the death of Sheeva and Shao Kahn.
Kano's cool, but maybe he's getting old, qhe'll die, sooner or later. Preferably at the hands of Mavado.

I'm not a Kano fan and really wouldn't be bothered if he died or not. He doesn't seem important to me at all. If he sits out a game then fine. If he dies, good riddance! lol
All he ever does is switch sides and act the slave to everyone else. It's a poor story for him imo.

I feel that it's time for Kano to go with Mavado and the Red Dragon now in the storyline.

Kano's one of my favourites, so I don't want him killed off for good. That's part of his character, he's a survivor, and he'll usually make it somehow, sometime. Kano'll always find a way, people to manipulate and stab in the back later.

Well indeed Queve, Kano didn't actually die.
Now, anyway. I don't know, but every time I see Kano in an MK game, he gets more of my sympathy. In MK1 I thought of him as an ordinary, random thug, a bit of a maniac. However in MK3 I began to like his surviving abilities. His ending was just so übercool, it rocked! Nuking Kahn's army, mwuha!
Then in DA, I think he also proved his intelligence by leading Outworld's army against Kitana's troops. It shows to me that he's not just a brutal, cunning and cowardly thug but also an intelligent commander on the battlefield. As far as I can tell, Kano's earned my respect ;).
I will probably be a bit disappointed if he dies but, IF he dies, his death should be a very spectacular one. I also reckon Mavado OR Sonya will have something to do with it... preferrably Mavado, because Mavado r0x0rz even more.
Cheers,
VQ

Otherwise I say he should stick around He is definitely one of the better fighters in DA, he has cool moves and his speed is just ridiculous. I love playing as him. (However I love playing as Sonya and Kicking his ass into the floor even more. LOL ) |
What do you know, I got one right. I guess I'm not all oatmeal above the eyebrows, after all.
Anyways, dead or alive Kano will always have a spot in Mortal Kombat, any time he wants to take it.
"Kano lay severely injured, and would surely have perished had Motaro not seen the fight. The Centaur brought Kano back to Shao Kahn's fortress and revived him with magic."
I guess I got confused with the "revived with magic" part.
Well, its cool to see Kano has many fans around. I like him too, but after all this time, he should kill himself for letting Sonya kick his ass so many times!
Lol. He even needed the ARMY to kill her, he is just not good enough to kill Sonya.

Damn straight! Sonya rules. Period.
Yeah, Kano rocks. He should defintely be in MK6.
I have a pretty good idea of a story line for him too.
The Ex- Black Dragon leader Kano sides himself with a very powerful ally.
Mavado accepts, and Kano becomes Mavado's new Hso Hao.
Kano supplies Mavado with all the information and resources that the Black Dragon had found in their many years exploring Outworld. Through his cooperation and information, Kano jumps rank to co-leader, sharing position with his once "master" Mavado.
Out on "Red Dragon business" (I don't know what it is yet), Kano returns to find the severed head of Mavado, stuck to a table by a massive, curved, jagged knife.
Kano recognised this knife. It belonged to a once Black Dragon member, a man who was once his closest friend. A man Kano had thought to be dead.
With one vicious murder, the Red Dragon klan had been dealth a critical blow. Many of the Red Dragon fanatics would not trust Kano now, even put Mavado's death on him.
Somebody wasn't happy. A Red Dragon was an enemy to a Black Dragon, and turning from one to another was an offence punishable by death.
