Bio: (Overview)
The Etienne clan has always have had links with radical movements and crime organisations. They were once the highest finacial supporters for Hitler and Nazi Germany. The current Etienne that holds the leadership title of Count of Vichy, Pierre, has been the most ruthless yet graceful of the Etiennes. His skill in fencing has placed him high in the ranks of the Red Dragon, and his influence in French politics forced the French not to support America in the War against Iraq. Rumor says that Etienne is an extreme Saddist, and is a close ally of the Islamic extremist group, el-Raadia-Islamia.

Origin:
During the attempts of destroying the Black Dragon, Etienne allowed Mavado and the Red Dragon to reside in his manor. The Etienne clan were one of the founding groups of the Red Dragon. Immediately, Mavado made Etienne a high ranked offical for his hospitality. He has given the Red Dragon alot of funds, including funds to buy a miniture nuclear device to destroy the Outerworld Agency's portal.

Current Situation:
The Red Dragon have struck a deal with Sektor's clan, the Tekukein. Sektor has agreed to assist them if the Red Dragon keeps their member countries dormant while the Tekukien take over Asia. Etienne is keeping the French quiet, like he did with the War on Iraq. Also, he suspects Galman, the opperative working undercover as a Lin Kuei student, of turning away from the Red Dragon cause. Galman's mission was to become a student of Grandmaster Sub-Zero, codenamed Fury. When he has gain enough of Zero's trust, would destroy the Lin Kuei on the inside. Frost, the opperative before Galman, tried to take the Dragon Medallion off Sub-Zero to better her chances of succeeding, but failed. Even so, Etienne hasn't spoken of it to Mavado or any other Red Dragon members. Has Galman found out something about Etienne's personal life that might jeopodise his position as Leader of French Operations for the Red Dragon?

UPDATE: Red Dragon origin and name change done. Thanks to tgrant and baraka407 for the ideas.

Does anybody have ideas for fatalities or special moves for Etienne? Please PM me ASAP. I am going to put Etienne in the Character tournie.

UPDATE #2: Etienne's relivance in MK:D/MK7 posted under "Current Situation"

FINAL UPDATE: The bio is complete. Stage, death trap, stage weapon, special moves, fatalities, hari kiri and picture have been posted. Etienne will appear in the third character tournie. I will also post Etienne in the offical create a character archive thread.

Interesting concept. I'd like to know how he ended up being in the Red Dragon and how his clan started their ties with the Red Dragon. This info could help eextend the bio a little.

Adding some Fatalities and Special Moves would be a good idea too.

I like the idea of the character, that is to say, the place of origin, and the story. But, and this is just my opinion, I'm not a big fan of the name. I think DeGaulle, and I think Frenchmen, I think of Charles. Now I'm not thinking of fighting DeGaulle, I'm thinking of debating a new piece of French legislation with him. There are plenty of cool French names that would sound just as...err...French, so I'd probably go with one of those. Just some suggestions, but how about these:

Again I'm not bagging on your character concept, not one bit man. I like the story (you should definitely flesh it out like TGrant said, it's a great start) and I like the country of origin you decided on. We've never had a Frenchmen in MK to the best of my knowledge. I'm just giving you some constructive criticism, that's all. Good ideas!

Yeah, the origins of "DeGaulle" and the pic are coming in good time. I have no idea what his special moves or fatalities are going to be. Finally, I couldn't think up of any other names, so I'll change his name. Thanx for all the replies.

Stage: Etienne Manor - The Ballroom

This 18th-Century French manor is full of history and beauty. And what comes with history comes with misery. Inside a room near the ballroom of the manor, there are an abundance of ghosts, believed to be former Etienne clan members.
The stage starts off at the viewing box room on the ceiling of the ballroom. This room is Etienne's office, where Etienne views fights from his desk. Knocking the opponent into a window will bring them down to the actual ballroom. The ballroom is full of tables and chairs which can be used against the opponent ala Powerstone. There is a big door with a spooky face on it. That leads to.........

Death Trap: Ghastly Possession
After knocking the opponent into the ghouly doors, they fall into a dark room. White ghosts appear and start entering the opponent's body. Running out scared, the opponent explodes before reaching you. The ghosts fly back into their chamber.

Stage Weapon: Double-Sided Battle Axe.
This is found underneath one of the tables in the ballroom. The name says it all.

This stage is great! I love the deathrap too! The Fatality is exactly what should have been on one of Shangs MKDA stages, only done with the souls.

Special Moves:

Ear Smack - Etienne dashes up to the opponent and smacks their ears. This causes the opponent to lose their hearing for a few seconds (not good in dark arenas at all)

Tube Dust - Etienne throws a flask of radioactive material at the opponent, blinding them for a few seconds.

Vichy Strike - Etienne jumps and slices an X on the opponent with his saber.

Fatalities:

Organic Nuclear Reaction - Etienne grabs a syringe from his jacket, which has a radioactive symbol on it. He injects it into his sword, then cuts the opponent's face. The opponent starts screaming, but then stops in bedazzlement as his scar starts scabing up. His head starts to "bubble up" to inlarge his head, until when his head cannot take anymore. The opponent head explodes with a fleshy mushroom cloud. The remains of his head flop over his neck like a busted can.

Slice and Dice: Etienne pushes his opponent. While the opponent falls from the push, Etienne rapidly slices him with his sabre into multiple pieces. What falls on the ground are only fragments of gore and bone.

Interesting special moves. I like the Fatality. One question though. How is he carrying all this nuclear and radioactive stuff around safely? He'd be killed by them too eventually.

I like his role - Red Dragon affiliate teaming with the Tekuinin to take out the Lin Kuei now thats dope.

Bio-Once the leader of his viking clane known the world over for there violent acts and unstoppable power.Shang-Tsung noticed the unstoppable power that Mundane possesed and in a trick only a sorcerer could pull off the 10000 year old sorcerer framed Mundane for cheating in the first Kombat tournement in hopes of having him baneshed to outworld forever.Little did Tsung no that Mundane posses A bigger threat to the sorcerer that the sorcerer possed to him and after brutally assaulting the sorcerer he made a deal "Let me return to earthrealm and I shall pose not threat to you in the coming tournements.Because all the tourchered soul of Mundane wanted was to return to earthrealm to fight alongside his mortal allies.But after the murder of his entire clane bye the newley founded deadly alliance Mundane swore revenge on Shang-Tsung and all his followers.Now fighting alongside the mysterious warriors only known as Fujita and Ramuh the Viking warrior has only one goal.Kill shang-tsung and kill the last known dragon before he to posses a threat to Mundane

Fatality-Viking Power-Mundane gathers all the strength of his fallen clane members and with his axe beheads his opponent and the walks over and picks up there head only to show them there own twitching and blood gushing body.

I wrote this in under 20 minutes so it is a work in progress.And here are a few character names I came up with or thought would be kool
