I hope Kira. Kobra doesn't have a good storyline to me.Also there seems to be more to Kira than Kobra.

Make that 5 nil. I like kira. IMO the best newbie in mkd.. If midway sees this, PLEASE give her look a touchup a la limei and give her some oreiginal styles and moves;. I do not know if the resemblance to Rayne is accidental, but midway, u have to do a better joib!! The idea is good though.

I hope Kano returns and offs them both they are complete losers and need to be sent to the netherrealm sooner rather than later. Oh and he needs to lay the smackdown on Kabal to prove himself as Black Dragon Leader.

Kira is one of the better new characters to MK, even if she is just a female Kano. I would rather see her back than Kobra and Kano. She's just a good all around fighter. Kobra is just lame.

My vote goes to Kira, its pretty cool how she is a combonation of Kano and Sonya (although having the original characters would have been better but I have MKDA so I can play as them ).
Kobra just reeks of lameness I hate the way he looks and he just feels like a filler character who is only in MKD because of Johnny Cage's absence from the roster.

Yeah that is true he does feel alot like a Cage rip off......Maybe Johnny cage should be the one to off the punk then instead of Kira.

Kira, I think that Sonya in DA is just Kobra in drag. I agree about Kira being the best new character this time around. Even better than some of the original ones such as Sonya, Kano and Johnny Cage. She should definately stick around..

Okay, Kano was an awesome character, and it would be awesome to have them both in the same game, I won't disagree. As far as Kobra and Kira go... Kira. She actually fits in with the rest of the Black Dragon, Kobra doesn't really have the Black Dragon style.

I think Kira is alot better then Kobra. Kobra is to easy to cheese with. Also Heman+Ken Mastaers+ Jins Tekken 4 get up= Kobra. Kobra is a Ken clone.

Kira is a good successor for Kano-remember the lame ass Jarek, who was his pupil, he had Kanos moves, Kanos bodylooks, Kanos aftershave...
but Kira is something different. She, after joining the B.D. could emerge to a potent character. Learning Kanos moves and Sonyas could only mean that she has the intelligence to learn about her enemies, or about her predecessors.
Kira is good. Oh, and how comes Kobra is a he-man lookalike? Where did you guys get that idea?
Kobra is pretty good though, his death gives Kira the boost.

Maybe Kobra is a fill in for Johnny Cage and I do agree that he does not really fit into the Black Dragon style but as for him being a lame character...... You people need to realize that this "bland" type of character is essential in any fighting game. The old school'ed sort of street fighter who doesn't have some extravagant costume or outlandish perk to his character. You can't have 24 noob - smoke's or scorpions on sub zero's.
Fighting games will always have characters like Kobra and that's what makes him a good character. Sure, he's not so different from other kickboxers or street fighters but I think someone said earlier in the post "original is better" refferring to Kano. Well you're exactly right "original is better," and Kobra's orginal style of character will always be necessary in Moral Kombat.

Well I don't like Kira because she has unoriginal moves but when compared to Kobra shes like the new scorpion. Kobra sucks so much! So I'd have to say Kira is the lesser of two evils.....wait....the lesser of the lumps of pure and utter shite. I'm so sweet!

You Know Kobrad1 you might be right there i never really thought about it that way. Afterall every character is bound to have a certain fanbase so maybe he isnt so bad. However i do think that putting him with the Black dragon may have been a bad decision he just does not seem to fit. I think he would have been cooler if he were a vigilante kind of like Casey Jones from the old Turtles cartoon (back in the good old days) but hey as with all characters he has his fans. But admit it you know that Kano could kick both of their arses.

I'll give it to Kira. She makes Kobra look like a chump.

i can see why Kabal would choose both to become potential members of the Black Dragon. Kira and Kobra can both kick a lot of ass(against normal people I assume). i might go with Kira but I hate her because of her unoriginality but Kobra has an original move set except for 2 styles taken. if Kira's moves were original i would probably like her. i guess within this conflict of myself i choose Kira. Kano is a better character than both though.
