BTW, I e-mailed Midway and told them to kill off Kitana.

Look...Kitana, rocks ok. She has kool weapons, she looks bad ass and would make a great addition to MK:D...

HOWEVER...

Reality...if everyone on this board asked for Kitana to return, I don't they would add her for that reason alone. If they kept up to date with which characters people wanted in, then out, then in, then out, then in, then out, they would be choppin and changin the character roster till the cows come home. As someone mentioned earlier stories have been writen, characters have more or less been set (I'd say they have been by now since the last update) and I don't think ed is gonna change what appears to be a HUGE part of the new storyline to add her. And in saying that...her being held captive by the dragon king adds a bit of spice to the whole game don't ya think?

Shame, she does have kool fans...but yeah, it's just the way it is.

I guess all you can do now is hope that ed puts her in as a secret character, which wouldn't surpirse me much at all as she is a fan fav.

But yeah, ya may as well not worry about the petition...

Yea its weird to me that Kitana hasn't been announced.. isn't in the game yet.. mabey the Ghost/Zombie/Werewolf/Poltergeist/Vampire/etc. Liu Kang (Worst.. idea... ever) KILLED HER. *gasp* Sindel comes to avenge her death.. Baraka.. being somehow connected with Liu Kang's return is betrayed by Mileena and Mileena fights on the side of good (another not so great idea.. but it does make a little sense)

There are a lot of Kitana fans, vocal haters aside.

She'd be a great addition to the game, with a new dynamic between she, Sindel, and Mileena.

I think it's very possible she'll crop up as a secret/hidden character.
