"OmegaSupreme" you made a pretty good point. Lui Kang, Sindel, Mileena, Tanya are all in the game why cant kitana. It would be totally dumb not to have her in there. Hopefully boon will add her in the game that is if shes not already in there just not confirmed yet.

all us kitana fans should go picket the midway offices..... lol....i could care less 4 the story shes a great fighter,now since mkd will be online i can show all those people that said she was a bad fighter in mkda...but in reality she is just a hard fighter to learn...meaning u needed skills to b good w/ her!!!!! unlike the other females of mkda...

Seriously, send them an email asking for Kitana to appear *in playable form*. Conquest mode doesn't count :p Be polite, courteous, and sincere - I think Midway, more than almost any company I can think of in this industry, is indeed willing to please their fanbase. Of course, every company wants their fans happy, but few will actually go out of their way to do so - Midway seems like an exception to this rule, so I encourage anybody who's inclined to send them a brief and honest letter, stating your hopes to see Kitana, and offering a few good reasons for her inclusion, too, above and beyond "she's my favorite."

We'll see what happens :) The game is still a long way off - no telling, but petitioning could actually make a difference, as we're still relatively far off from release.

I think Kitana wont be in deception, why? Simple:

Sindel is in.
Li Mei is in.
Tanya is in.
and finally, Mileena is in.

Yes, you think thats why she will be, but its what they want us to think.

Besides, just cause Sindel and Mileena are in the game, it does not mean Kitana will be. (MkG? MKDA?)

I think its awesome we finally see Mileena alone, and the same for Sindel. If Kitana is in, the story will most likely be the same stupid crap.

Let characters evolve in better ways. Im more then happy with all the outworl/edenia females and I hope they stay like that. Kitana is not needed in this game. But she can comeback for any future mk I guess.

They can't have all characters in one game. She was in DA, so she can step back for Deception and leave an empty spot for one of the classic combatants that missed MK Gold and Deadly Alliance.
There are fans of every single fighter and I believe what they're trying to do is bring back some of the heroes that were missing in action for a long period of time.
With the presence of Sindel and Mileena I'm sure her absence will be explained and justified. Probably she's not in Deception, but it doesn't mean she's not doing something behind the scenes.
She's my favorite female character, but what I'm going to do is give a chance to some of the other ladies. Personaly, I can't wait to play with Ashra and Tanya.

And Vikiv: Most everything you based your reasoning on was speculation, worst part being the assumption that if Kitana is included, she'll contribute to the 'same old stupid crap.' How do you know what they'd so with her if she's in or out? With Mileena, Sindel, and even Liu returning (?), when will the chance be *better* to fix mistakes of the past?

My original post was a posting of possibilities - characters and events that we already *know* are in Deception, that open up many possibilities for Kitana's involvement. This much is indisputable: if the MK team wants to revitalize the character, they've crafted the *perfect* time in which to do it. As I said above, the character premise is as sound as the day she was introduced - you don't get any better than a beautiful and elegant, immortal princess from a lost realm... and the fans are a trademark that Midway better not pass on to *ANYBODY* else. So they've dropped the ball with her in the past - that sure as hell doesn't mean they can't pick it up again and make it right this time around.

The only excuse at this point for not including her is if she's dead, or somehow imprisoned or incapacitated. They've got *everything* that ever meant *anything* to Kitana in this game - I can't believe that they'd set her up for a pivotal role of some kind, only to absently forget to include her in the end.

Kitana's presence is far from certain - but it's also far from excluded. We'll have to wait and see!

Kitana should be in the game shes a classic, its like saying remove sub-zero and scorpion and give the spots to other classics.

Addendum: The *ONLY* person who I'd find acceptible to passing Kitana's fans along to, barring her own inclusion, is her mother, Sindel. It's an elegant weapon of royalty, not a converted farm tool of the masses.

Actually, I love sindel a lot more! She is my second fave female!

I simply cannot see why she would n't be in the game. It would be foolish not to put her in such a hot game. Many fans want her in -so forget about her appearance in DA nad start fresh and new.

when i went to midway.com i clicked on "contact" at the bottom of the page, then it took me to some screen with a bunch of email addresses. I didnt know which one to send it to. I sent it to games@midway.com. I think thats how it was written. hopefully it was the correct one.

^ As I said, there's not a 'click here to offer feedback on MK6' link, so most any is as good as the next, I suspect (the farthest astray any given email could end up is a few doors down from where it needs to be, anyway, since they share the same office building ;)

They all sucked and hopefully they all died. Aslong as they come up with a reasonale reason of why they died I'm happy since they all were lame MK fighters and imo would be slaughtered by the MK:D cast.

Well, the new GameInformer article gives us reason for optimism... more characters yet to be revealed, and it sounds like there's plenty of surprises yet to come...
