Like it was said earlier that this is the best time for her to be in an mk game because lui kang, sindel, mileena, and tanya. But also she should be back to kill "noob saibot". he killed her friend goro so she might seek revenge. So thats another reason kitana should be in this game.

Kitana should be back! The Princess is one of the classics of MK and she along with Raiden must return.

her MKDA story was weak, but all it needs for MKD is a little work and it'll be fine. She should be back to avenge Goros death and deal with Mileena. Both Mileena and Sindel are there so Kitana should be in!

And yes, if the fans are passed on Sindel should have them!

Kitana not bein in MK:D would be the most stupid move IMO. Like many people have said having Mileena, Sindel, and the possibility of Liu Kang and Tanya being there, includes all the main elements of Kitana's storyline. She HAS to be there.
And I think her story was weak in MK:DA, but in a way the happenings of MK:DA give her more scope for a better story now and chance to be real kick ass. All the main character elements of her storyline (Mileena etc) gives scope for her own storyline development, as does the fact she will want avenge/help avenge Liu and GOro's death. Her alliances with Earth, Edenia and now the Shokans prooves she can have big influences on the happenings of MK:D.
She has always been my favourite character and I would be devestaed not to see her.

And good reasoning, too - Kitana has a lot of fans, that's for sure... but she's also got a lot going for her in this game, so hopefully we don't miss a great opportunity to bring her back to the head of the pack again as both a fighter, and a central figure to the happenings in MK.
