Gameplay-wise: Depends on who's playing.

Storyline-wise:
Kitana has beaten Mileena in the past, however now could be a different story.
Mileena's flaw is she's too emotional when she fights. That may make her more vicious, but it could also make more sloppy. However, ther eis the chance that Mileena has finally learned to control herself when she fights which would make her a better match.
Kitana seems to be more level-headed when she fights. However, there is the possibility that she's gone TOO soft. She killed Mileena in MK2 when she was still kind of shifting from heartless assassin to heroic princess. Kitana the assassin could probably own Mileena easily, however Kitana the princess I think would have a lot more trouble.

So based on the past: Kitana.
In Deception: Hard to say. I think we should also factor in the Dragon King has reawakened the evil in Kitana so she's back to assassin mode. Could be a good fight...

kitana and mileena were even in mk2 like XiahouDun84 said it depends on whos playing, mileenas cheap tactics dont work for her vs kitana.. mku-t they were again even, not top tier at all mid tier.. mk gold kitana was better.. in mk deception. if kitana is in, and she is a exact replica of herself in mk da gameplay..etc.. then mileena will own her in mk deception. mileena looks powerful in mk deception..

Mileena would rock Kitana's world. Sure she may not block and may rush in to quick but thats because shes a frickin Baraka look alike (sorry forgot the name of the species) on a whim Mileena could use those wicked teeth of hers and Kitana would be nothing more then a piece of flesh stuck in Mileena's teeth.

Mileena > Kitana. I always liked her fighting style better in the older mks. Hopefully she's a lot better in Deception than Kitana was in Deadly Alliance.

I reckon Kitana would win. In the past it seems like Mileena was always a bit of a pushover for Kitana, Mileena seemed to go all out to kill her and not use her brain, where as Kitana jsut seemed to defend and wait for Mileena to mess up.

But this time around I think it will be different. I think Mileena will pose more of a challenge, and maybe (hopefully) their fued won't be settled in Deception and they will both return later to swuare it out in MK7. But If there is to be a winner, in a fair fight, I'd say Kitana.

Wow, both girls are great fighter, but I say that Mileena will win by a longshot, just because she that evil and that good of a fighter. But hey, that's my opinion.

i play mk2 alot vs elite people.. whats funny about the mileena being "top tier" which she is.. if u want to neutralize her just pick kung lao, he owns her in mk2..

like i said, true kitana is the forth best, but thats just overall vs every 1.. im talking about kit vs mileena.. as i said mileenas cheap ass tactics can not work vs kitana..which makes them equal, because of their "same ness"..

I kinda think that Mileena would win. She's such a bitch and I don't think she cares about anyone's feelings. I think she would kill Kitana if she really wanted to. Mileena is just an all around bad ass character.

However, I like what someone said earlier. Kitana seems to be really mysterious and smart. I liked how they personified her in the first Mk movie.

It would be awesome if they gave Kitana a darker apperance. She would look in black. I just think she would be awesome if they gave her a more bitchy attitude. I really like Kitana, but Mileena's always been a favorite of mine.
