I dont really like the ninja's because they're not an original idea and i feel that there all copies of one another.

well everyone got they own favorite. ninja are not my fav my fav is kung lao but i like scorpion, sub-zero and reptile. but all other ninja were like copy. and i dont like play with girl bc i sux with them. thats y.

Although I like the ninjas in the game, you do have a good point, they are all copies of one another. Look at MKT, there were like 8 or so ninjas in that game, and then they went as far as making Chameleon.

ya in mkt and umk3 there was about 10 ninja same costume the only different thing was the special att and the color. but i talk about mkda and mkd the ninja are extremely not the same. there are cool

Here's my question, if this game is set somewhere between mk2 & mk3 then why is Noob in it? And if Ermac is in it, where's Rain? I'm not that big of a Rain fan, but it sounds kinda odd that Ermac is in it & Rain isn't.

I doubt that this is THE game of 2005, but it is a little depressing that there aren't too many screen shots for Shaolin Monks considering that it's not that far from release.

You haven't heard about Noob until Deception? My God, have you been living under a rock? Noob was a secret character in MK2, was in MK:T, and is probably one of the most, if not the most, speculated characters in the MK history!

Anyways, those are some good pics. It is kinda strange, but at Gamespot, there is like two pictures where a guy is in a black suit. It kinda reminds me of Kano's MK3 costume. This game takes place during MK2, doesn't? Wouldn't he have his MK costume instead? Maybe it's just my imagination...

noob was a secret character in mk2. rain only appear at umk3 and ermac was in the mk1 but it was a bug: ERror MACro = ERMAC. this was just an extra outfit.

Those aren't Kenshi or Kano.
The guy in red is one of the Red Dragon troopers, they had a concept sketch of him here a while ago. His weapon were two shock sticks. The guy isn't Kano because Kano never wore a scarf over his face, also his outfit was never fully black. That's just one of the Black Dragon members. Look at his head it's a buzz cut.. Also, Kano was captured during this time period.
