dosn't offend it is your opinion.. but to me its starting to look good.. the voice acting is subpar.. its good.. its not like its so bad thats its erritating.. but the movement of shinjuku.. is kinda looking choppy... but then it should since its just a par game.. and the main thing is that it should focus on the fighting..

I'm not offended for one. I expect the graphics and running and whatnot will be touched up on before release. The voice acting should be good, we have only heard like 3 or 4 people speak (and none of them are actual kombatants). However, you're doubts are well founded, Konquest might be the one thing that makes or breaks Deception, as the bulk of the unlocking will take place in it, and if it sucks, then things won't go well. I'm as worried as you are, but keep optimistic

I rather have them talk in subtitles then actually voice.There voices sound silly and cartoonish.

well in my opinion the konquest is looking a bit low detailed but think about it on the console instead of the windows media player...the graphics will look choppy on there but they will be very good I think on the real thing. Yes the sound is kinda bad but sound is only part of it and maybe he had a hoarse throat then? you never know lol...all that i know is that any1 who finds a MK character in it is gonna be like SWEET! no matter what the sound is like because you know its an adventure...not a movie.

I'm not looking forward to Konquest either. I would also rather have subtitles than voice acting, because their voice acting is terrible. I also hate the realms so far. Netherrealm looks just like one large flat desert. I expected some sort of multi-layered inferno. Not the vast desert of red sand. Earthrrealm is the only one looking somewhat decent.

I agree with you on the Graphics being sub-par but i mean Konquest is going to be fucking huge so i mean its kind of what i expected. As for Konquest being a flop, no i don't think it will be and i think your crazy to think so, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm not offended by your statement i just feel that you shouldn't judge it before you play it. If you start playing it thinking its going to suck then it most likely will, you have to keep an open mind look past the graphics and voice acting, i mean seeing all the events all the characters in and from MK up to this point is going to be simply amazing. Konquest has me very excited. I've been having dreams about this game every night for 3 nights now and every morning i wake up thinking i own the game already i come in to play only to realize that its not out yet. Most of these dreams have been about Konquest mode.

Well i hope it's just flawed graphically and sound wise if anything seeing as it will be the main way to unlock the important things. I also agree with the person who said subtitles would be better but that's only because right now the voices are laughable. But if there were subtitles everyone would complain about how much they had to read. *shrug*

Konquest was not the focus of MK:D, so, obviously, it should be the best part of the game. It, like the other modes, are "side" games to take a break from constant kombat.

No way man. Konquest is looking very, very pleasing now. I really like how its turning out. I think the voice acting is pretty good. Its not bad but its not mind blowing. Its just average and the graphics are pretty cool too. I dont think they are nasty I think they are really good for being a huge adventure with everything goin on in it.

I'm sure since the MK team watches the videos, they can cleary see the voice acting and the writing sucks. They will touch it up. The graphics are pretty good though, the characters look detailed. My only fear is the limitations of the enviroments. I hope there aren't any invisible walls. If i want to jump off a cliff into a lava river or go swimming in a lake I should be able to do so.

Personally, I think I would love Konquest... It looks like a mix between Shenmue and Tenchu, and I love these two games...

konquest isnt the main part of the game. it in no way will out shine the fighting part, hence its a fighting game!!
yeah it would be nice for konquest to have great graphics,sound..etc
but like i said they r not gonna put great detail in this part of the game... the fighting game is the cake.. everything else is the icing and sprinkles..

You didnt actually think it was gonna have great Graphics right? Earthrealm by itself IS HUGE so dont expect miracles, plus MK has never had an Adventure Mode of sorts, so this is there first try!

the graphics are certainly not the lure of the konquest mode. those expecting stunning 3d visuals need to go buy a different game. i am just glad an adventure mode is included despite ho-hum visuals. the nostalgia and "free search" theme whilest collecting items and searching for secrets is the lure of the mode.

On the other videos at gamespot, the sound for konquest is actually very good.

Deception's konquest mode is a dramatic step up from DA's konquest mode. I am happy about that. Deception is a fighting game, and the fighting looks sweet. I think konquest mode will be fun even though it doesn't look or sound the greatest. Spiderman 2 is a fun game even though the graphics are less than perfect, and the voice acting is horrible. I have high hopes for konquest, and the rest of the game. This is going to be the most indepth MK to date. I for one know it will be a fun game to play.

Using Konquest instead of the krypt for unlocking: nope, as long as they can be unlocked in some form I'm happy

Quality of voice acting: yep, I've always been a firm believer that if the voice acting is crap then get japanese voice actors and have sub-titles at the bottom

General story: nope, I'm only interested in the stories of my favourite characters and at the moment Shujinko isn't one of them.

General idea of visiting different realms: yep, I'm really looking forward to that part, hopefully this part above everything else won't be disappointing when it comes to testing it.
