Well, looks like Jax has been confirmed, and looks like Quan Chi isn't making it into Decpetion afterall. In the interview at GameSpot, they say that Ed Boon and Co. have 1 last available spot left in the set of 24 characters for Deception. They have the choice of either bringing back YET another classic character or making an entirely NEW character. (No word on bringing back a Deadly Alliance related character). Although, my best bet is to instead of making a new character since all of the new ones so far look VERY VERY VERY worthy of the MK name, I think they should either bring back Rain, Kai (since they were planning on using him in DA) or bring back a DA character and have it be Mavado to rival against Kabal.

Agreed, except that I would not like to see Rain back. Deception is a ninja orgy already, after all...

they should cut jax out and put quan chi in and then use the last spot for drahmin(take him out of the prison stage)

We've got plenty of new characters already.
I'd much rather see the return of a classic such as
Johnny Cage, Raiden, Kano, or Kung Lao.

Isn't Rain the only ninja missing? Let's keep it that way.

I'm hoping for a character that I'll like 2 use; unlike Jax :( maybe Kitana, Sonya (since Jax is there and maybe Hsu Hao's ending didn't happen), Kung Lao, Raiden, or a new water god!

im pretty sure that most if not all the characters that you guys mentioned for the last spot will be hidden characters, since boon has mentioned before that all of the characters in mk will make an appearance in this game.. hopefully he didnt mean that they'll make appearances as artwork in the krypt

Every character from every MK will appear in Konquest, but that doesn't mean they'll all be playable in the regular game.

I know Shang and Quan will be in the game! There are more than 24 characters.

Im not happy that Jax is in the game, but he'll be hidden. There are many missing from MKDA that should be in the game and I'm sure they'll be hidden!
