I finally discovered exactly where Ben/Kobra is. He is the bottom right character. Remember, he wears a hooded jacket? His light hair is coming out of it a little.

Now...I believe that where Kel-X has Liu Kang is not right because it looks like a face mask, I would say now that Liu is on the bottom left.

I don't believe that Jax will be in this character select screen, but he will be in the game. There are more characters than the 24 you see here.

the character with the two peices of hair hanging down and away from her face is most likely to be tanya as she has this sort of hair style, but it could be kitana. (down and left from scorpion) i could be wrong but that is just my personal opinion, im just pleased that we haev so many femal characters this time that i like. I cant wait to play them all. especially Sindel and Tanya.

Konqrr you are making some very good points here. I'm starting to think the one I named as Sareena is been also, with his hooded outfit of course. One reason I didn't say that in the first place was because I thought he regular costume was the karate outfit. But as you pointed out, you can see the hood and the yellow/gold lining of it as well as some of his hair coming from it. Also a correction about the Liu Kang thing. I agree he should be in the bottom far left corner it what I thought was Ben. I now notice after zooming in and brightening up the image, this person seems to have earrings and a necklace. You can clearly see the gold glint of both of them. Which is starting to make me wonder who this is and if I amde a correct prediction in where Tanya is located. This is starting to get alot more interesting. I guess the thing about Sareena was all in my mind. I want her to be in it pretty bad that I'm started to see her on there. Haha. At any rate, let me know what you think of the "earring" person who I had labeled as Liu Kang.

i would have to agree with your synopsis 100%, that sounds right to me. Its tough so dont let yourselves get discouraged, as this might very well not be the final roster. Boon and co. might have already guessed that this sort of guessing tactic would happen so he put fake black and whites of characters

My picks and reasons

A - Dairou

The pictures of Dairou in MK:DA have him with a ponytail and no hair on the top of his head.

B - Kabal

Because it's obviously Kabal. It couldn't be more obviously anyone.

C - Liu Kang

Looks a lot like MK4/MK:DA Liu Kang, although from a distance it looks like Shinnok.

D - Tanya

I see yellow. That's the only reason I've got.

E - Kira

Kira looks spunky in the pic I've seen of her. This hair is much spunkier than the one above it. It's gut instinct, nothing more.

F - Noob

'cause it's Noob.

G - Ben

From what I've seen of Ben, this looks like Ben. I think his hooded costume is his alt (though I'm not sure) and this looks like his unhood face.

H - Shujinko/Konquest

Because that's what it is. Boon confirmed this.

I - Reptile

It just doesn't look like a Shokan to me and Reptile's storyline almost demands he be in Deception.

J - Skab (If Skab Exists)

Because everyone thinks it's Skab, even though I still think Skab is an alt costume of Noob.

K - Sektor

'cause it's a cyber Ninja and Sektor's the only one rumoured for Deception.

L - Smoke

'cause he's what's left.

Oh lord. Okay, people. Take Skab's head from the render. Now match it up with J. PRETTY MUCH THE SAME SHAPE AND SIZE! And look, there's already a seperate face that matches Noob's head from the magazine render. That is AWESOME proof that Skab exists. You just have to looks closely.

As a long time Mortal Kombat veteran, you'll have to pardon my skepticism, but this is not my first rumoured character that never materialized.

Yeah, yeah, yeah! LOL There better be a Skab. Too good of an idea to waste. Haha. Besides, even if there isn't one, they still have room and time to put him in as a secret. Why not feed off the rumours? LOL

Konqrr, I noticed in one of the new videos on the Main page, that there is a shot of Tanya(in the puzzle fighter), well she is in a yellow outfit so I assumed it was her. Anyway, to my point, as far as I could tell she didn't have the same hair style as the character you labled as Tanya on the second row.

Konquest character: While I was thinking this could possibly be Shang Tsung, as he looks alot like the old one, the interview with Boon clearly points this as being the Konquest Monk. Sektor: Clearly a cyber-ninja. 99% sure it's Sektor, sue to the fact I know Smoke is not cyborg and that Cyrax will not be back. What does that leave? Sektor. Not ruling out the possibility of a new cyber-ninja, as Sektor as a whole new army. However, my sources confirmed to me a long time ago Sektor would return and play a major role in Sub-Zero's plot. So, it's a safe bet to say Sektor. Ben: Are we even sure this is his name? Or could it be Kobra? Well whoever it is, it's the character with the blonde hair and karate outfit and also with the hoodie outfit with the cobra logo. Compare the screenshots are video clips of Ben in the karate outfit, his long blonde hair, then look at the pic here. Pretty close eh? I'll stick with this being Ben/Kobra. Noob: I mean look at it, it's got Noob written all over it. Again, one of the more apparent ones. I mean Noob is black anyways, just add in the green eyes and BLAM! there he is. Shokan: Strange looking head we have here. I KNOW there is a shokan in the game and this is it. Yes, it does resemble a helmetless Shao Kahn and maybe even a reptilian character, but I'd like to point out the extremely long shoulders. Long shoulders (even if they are pads) leads me to believe in 4 long arms underneath. Look at Goro and Kintaro, I think this is your new four armed freak. Sareena: I'm going out on a limb here because I have not listed Dairou anywhere (with exception of the mention in the SMOKE section). There reason I think it is Sareena is for two reasons. REason one being kinda minor. I think the face is more femenine than masculine. The second, the hair. There is DEFINITELY a white streak in the bangs of "her" hair, just like Sareena. Not saying there will not be another character with similar hair, but this is just striking to me. Coupled with the fact I've hear Ashrah is hunting down Sareena, sounds logical enough to me. And there you have it folks. My predicitions for the Mortal Kombat Deception select screen. Remember PREDICITIONS, I could very well be wrong on a few of these, however I have strong, strong beliefs in most of the characters I've listed. Let me know what you guys think.

I agree with this 1000% minus Sareena. I think that character looks like an Old Shang Tsung, with the beard and all with one difference. His hair is black not white.

you say Cyrax wont be back...why?
Jax wasnt considered to be back either but he is...and for the case of the Cyber Ninja, Cyrax's fighting styles have not been shown as a style for any of the characters shown so far in MKD....plus, he didnt die, and if the weakest characters from Special Forces are back, then how could Cyrax and even Sonya not be back?

im just saying, it may be Sektor in the picture (even though I still dont think it is), but there is not much evidence against Cyrax returning, especially just because he hasnt been rumored, cause like I said, Jax wasnt rumored...Tanya sure as hell wasnt expected...and 24 characters is no longer pending, there most likely will be more playable...thats probably why people are finding it hard to add Smoke, Jax, and others to the picture...

I just want to see what evidence you have against Cyrax returning...

I tend to agree with Kel-X's analysis and Konqrr's corrections placing Ben in the bottom right corner and Liu Kang where Ben previously was.

Character A (top left) is either Dariou, Smoke or even Jax. My strongest bet is on Dariou, since he was reported by more sources than Smoke or Jax.

Character D (central left) is the new vampire, or Nitara, according to me. Remember that some time back it was said that a new vampire would be in the game... Could this be our vampire?

Of course, these are just my opinions.
