If she gained the tournament, she died... but the unexpected return of the Dragon King avoided that Li Mei found a tragic end at hands of the Deadly Alliance

I think that Li Mei is going to be evil in this game. Li Mei did not really die in her ending, her soul left her body and she was put in the corpse of a soldier from the Dragon King's army.

The first image I saw of her for this game had her in armor so I am guessing that her ending might have happened. I just need a reason why she isn't decomposed like the rest of the Dragon King's soldiers.

Perhaps for that her ending wasn't happened, because her armor doesn't like nothing the DK's army armor.

I didn't like Li Mei at all in MK:DA. I hated playing as her and she had a paper thin story and just struck me asa cheap T'n'A character.

However, I'm willing to give her a second chance in Deception. Even if she still doesn't play good, it looks like she'll at least have an interesting story and role.

I like her new outfit, in MKD!

Li Mei is one of the few Mortal Kombat designs I actually like. Where her more normal and "bland" look would be common place in games such as Tekken or Virtua Fighter or even a game like King of Fighters, it's more or less esoteric, at least to me, in a game full mutants, lizards, cyborgs, and what have you. Plus, as I said in another thread, I'm a fan of the more esoteric/underappreciated characters for the most part. So yeah, I do indeed like Li Mei.

I think her new costumes are cool, but I'm not a fan of that character in the least. She was a filler with hardly any story whatsoever. Maybe in Deception she will play a part instead of just being there.

Nope..I'm no fan of Li mei...(she didn't stand out AT ALL in Deadly Alliance..atleast not to me)

Haha, thanks Shinomune. Yeah, I'd say I'm probably Li Mei's biggest fan. I love the girl, I like her specials and basically I just like her period.

On topic: I think Li Mei rocks. She's not the best character, but she isn't hte worst either in my opinion (that goes to Bo Rai Cho).

I did not like Li Mei in MKDA cause I did not like her moves... she still has the same moves.. I hope she gets better new ones...
