First of all, after reading what you wrote about giving Mileena her colors and weapons back made me think. I like Li Mei, shes a great fighter, but compared to Mileena and Kitana she just doesnt add up. She was a Mileena replacement in DA with the sais and colors like you sorta said. And with Deception, she had to step aside and developa whole new persona because Mileena wanted her shit back. So Li Mei will be brand new in Deception.

Second, what are melons? i hope they are cool.

Am I the ONLY person who thinks Li Mei's outfit is BLACK and not BLUE? They don't even look anything alike!

It does look completely different, but looking at the trailers I got it also looks dark blue. I could be wrong. *shrug*

It is definitly blue. I watched the trailer I got from this site. (Not the E3 video of the trailer) And it looks like to me, it is blue.

It seems that Li Mei will be doomed to be somebody's clone....
In MKDA, i must admit that she was too similar to Mileena.
But in MKD... She is reinvented completely, but just because her ALT outfit is blue, she automatically is Kitana's clone.
If she was wearing green, she would be Jade's.
If she was wearing yellow, she would be Tanya's.
there is no winnin for the poor girl is there.

Ok so where is it written that the only female in MK that can wear dark blue is Kitana? Pink/Purple Mileena? Seriously if two or more character emerge wearing the same color, big deal. It doesn't make them clones. Ok, so my favorite color is Blue cause it looks the best on me, Does that mean I am a clone of my friends Ron and Casey who also love the color blue and wear it often? Of course not. We all just happen to like Blue. If Kitana was in the game as part of the roster, then Li Mei could still wear dark blue and be a completely unique character, same goes for Mileena if Li Mei were to go back to Pink/Purple.

I'm sorry but Li Mei's outfit looks alot like Kitana's, at first I thought it was Kitana in the video fighting against Mileena. She has blue clothing, blue boots, blue headwear, blue gloves, sound familiar?

I like Li Mei's armor outfit, that's classic and original and makes her look like a pretty bad ass chick. I wonder if she turned evil now? That outfit is great because It got people questioning if her ending really did take place or is it for some other reason. But all I got to say about that is that she got thumbs up from me on the regular outfit.

Whan has Kitana ever worn the style outfit that Li Mei's Blue costume is? Kitana has always worn One piece outfits, never showing her midriff. It might be a color (and Character don't own colors as that would be ridiculous) we've seen on Kitana, but that outfit definitely is NOT Kitana's style.

To me it looked like Kitana's Mortal Kombat II costume revamped, The long hair the similar color, it just reminded me alot of that character, plus she was fighting Mileena, that is just too much of a coincedence.

Ok, I can see how you would come to that conclusion, but really the outfit more resemble Li Mei's alt from MKDA than it does Kitana's from MK2, Though it is still similar I guess. Anyway the point I'm trying to make is that It's fine for characters to wear the same colors, and they should be able to do so with being called "Clones" Johnny Cage and Kitana wear almost the exact same shade of blue and they are to completely seperate characters with nothing else in common except fighting for the side good. That's all I'm trying to say.

yea, i agree wit Nightwolf... Not once did i mistake the mysterious blue chick for kitana. i knew it had to be either Li Mei or Sareena... (just because the blut outfit was first shown as being Pink/Purple in a magazine(PSM).)
