Exactly. To put it more in reference, a normal nail hammer is much smaller and lighter than the melons Li Mei probably uses in the game, and I guarnetee you that if you were to try and block a hammer heading towards your face at full speed with nothing but your hands, you're going to more than likely break some bones in your hand.

And melons are much, much heavier and larger than your typical nail hammer so...

That's strange, because I was in the IRC the other day and asked the same question to ]ombat, and he said that she had a "Morning Star" Which is a staff type weapon with a Spiked ball on it, kind of like a really long Mace. And after he said what it was, I described it to him and he said that yes it was what she had.

My guess would be that its a spiked melon, which would look EXACTLY like a morning star. Who says a melon cant be spiked? Anyway, Id rather it be called a morning star becuase I keep having impure thoughts each time I hear Li Mei and melon in the same topic.

I think everyone is having this problem, it seems to happen when the number of users reaches around 40. I don't know if that is just people who has signed up or if it includes the lurkers.

Its supposed to be the non members that build up the traffic. Ive been on the site when the member number has reached 60+ and it would still act normal. But either way, its much better then it has been the past few days.

Melons, Morning Stars, Flails, Maces. Are all incrediblt deadly, Brutal weapons.

Sure, Even getting brushed by a swinging sword will cut you, But even getting brushed by one of those things at full swing can cause mass internal damage. And they were really at their best during midievil battles. A sword wont cut armor, And in battle you can't stand there and try to thrust towards the exposed joints. But Melons, Morning Stars, Flails and Maces would cause the armor to cave in- So even if someone got out of being hit in the chest without suffering any broken ribs, He'd have to take the chest plate off because the dented armor would abstruct his breathing and suffocate him.

spiked melons.... sounds like getting to 2nd base might be painful. Sorry it was just there. Hmmm I think we're all arrested adolescents on this site. Oh well now I have to get the image of Li Mei swiging her twin spiked "melons"around out of my head. (slams head against wall)
