I don't know why, but I think it would be cool to have Shang Tsung killed for trying to free Li Mei's soul, as he is her father, so Dragon King kills Tsung. Li Mei now has her body back, but not her will.

If Li Mei turns bad, that would definately turn tides in the story. I may actually think shes ok if she turns bad, that way her story is changing and shes getting more involved. Great idea MetaX.

I think she works for the DK in this game, like someone said. Also that samurai-like costume she has his her default one, I think.

Hmmm I dunno. Didnt it say somewhere Li Mei died in the trailer letting you know what happened to the deadly alliance. I reckon that Shang tsung did put her soul into one of the Dragon King's warriors, and thats why she's there now.

The only other explaination is that Li Mei herself decided to give herself new armour because she thought, 'Hey how much of a lame, crap character am I. Better beef myself up and give myself some protection since I'm so fickle.'
