Lost Kontent: Ed Boon Reveals Swamp Level from Deadly Alliance

Ed Boon posted yet another image on his Twitter page, this time a swamp level that almost made its way into MK: Deadly Alliance. Ed's words:

This SWAMP arena was ultimately cut from the lineup in Deadly Alliance but was modeled sans textures.
...I have a TON of cutting room floor stuff and if you guys seem to enjoy it I'm happy 2

This could have been an interesting arena. I wonder what relevance it would've had in the story. Looking at the background, it's possible that it could be an extension to the Living Forest but the trees don't quite match those found in the the Living Forest.

They probably would've associated it with Reptile somehow. I don't know, a swamp seems to be a suitable place for him.

It's not technically "lost" since it is in MK:DA, after all. Still, I suppose it's nice to get the images on the internet in good quality. I don't know what ever happened to that file dump for the MK:DA-MK:D Krypts.

the quality is not that good at all, you could easily get better quality with hd capture card or dolphin/pcsx2 emulators:

Well yeah, I stand corrected then. It'd be nice if we could get these images and everything from the Krypts up on the site, not really my department though unfortunately.
