ok,here you go....Found in a treasure chest at point G-8 in Edenia at 12AM Friday Morning behind the tent....and you get the key to the chinese turkey.

uhhh... there is no G-8 or tent on edenia unless I'm missing something......

Yes it is it is on a hidden trail you will find it eventually and wait til 12:00AM and it will be there for a few seconds you gotta actually look man.

I'll keep lookin, all I found was lui kang guarding the doors in front of the building at G-6, I fought him till I beat him and all I got was 300 Jade koins . I didn't see anywhere that could possibly be a trail but I guess I'll keep lookin, thanks.

Head East. and Keep an eye on the Grid ID as you're wandering around. If it says F-8, head south. G-7, head East. If you look on the map you'll see there's a small rift in the mountains with a few small patches of trees a little north of the place you fought Liu at, If I'm not mistaken.

OK, I'm going to give you a walk-through, and I'm going to do it on the game as I tell you so that it will be as accurate as it can possibly be. OK, wen you enter Edenia, take the trail as far left as you can go, but DO NOT go to the trail that's behind the portal that leads towards where Sindel was held captive (You should be on E-4 when you are on the right trail.). OK just run down this path... go behind the water fountain... Go passed the little wooden bridge (DO NOT CROSS THE LITTLE WOODEN BRIDGE)... Go behind the buildings to your right (you should be in area G-5 now)... You should come to a sidewalk with a white bridege to your immediate left and a building diagonally to your right... Cross the WHITE BRIDGE THAT IS ON YOUR LEFT... Turn right and go passed the big white house (It has all the pools and pillars out in front)... You should see a lighter green colored path right as you pass the big white house that will be diagonally in front of you on your left (You should be in area F-5 at this point)... Get on that path... Take the path until the path veerse off to the right, there will be a big tree in the area you will need to go, so KEEP STRAIGHT AND GO PASSED THE BIG TREE (You should be in area G-7 right now)... Run down this area until you come to some rocks in the middle of the area, GO TO THE RIGHT OF THOSE ROCKS (Area H-7 is where you should be)... You will then pass some trees that are close together, stay straight ahead until you can't go any further (You're against the rock wall) turn to you're RIGHT and down the path... A tent with TWO torches should be there... Now meditate until Friday at 12AM, then go behind the tent and the chest should be there. Word of advice, I suggest meditatting until 11:00PM Thursday night, because the chest doesn't stay long.

you have to beat konquest to get him right?

you have to beat konquest AND you have to do the Jade/ Rain mission after that he will be behind Jades tent .

You don't have to do the Rain/Jade mission...

Ok, here it is, just plain out, in case any of you have confused this poor guy.
Step 1. Beat Konquest mode.
Step 2. Go to G8 in edenia.
Step 3. If you cant find a tent, look around the mountain next to G8, until you find a way into the small canyon, you'll find a tent in there.
Step 4. Go behind the tent, and wait until 12 am Friday morning.
Step 5. Open the newly appeared chest, and get the key that unlocks Liu Kang.
You dont need to do the rain/jade mission. I know that, because I've unlocked Liu Kang, and I've never even heard of the rain/jade mission. I didn't even know Rain was in this game.

dont forget, its on a friday at 12AM

Are you sure checked it at 12 AM? 12 PM doesn't work, you have to check at 12 AM. Also, make sure you've beaten Konquest mode first. That means Shujinko should be all old, and he should've already talked to the Dragon King in the Nexus. Also, make sure you're behind the tent. It's not going to show up inside the tent or out in front of it. The chest comes up behind it. Other than that, I'm not sure what could be wrong. You should see a chest behind the tent if you met all these conditions.

I didn't see Lui Kang's chest either. I also couldn't find Hotaru's when I meditated. My PS2 is dead though, so I can't try again till like next week when the next shipment of the new models of PS2 come in. I did beat Konquest mode and got all the characters, except for Lui and Hotaru. I didn't try a second time for either though because it takes forever to meditate to a certain day. After only playin for 5 days, I'd have to say Tanya is the coolest character.

It worked for me. What u can do is simply meditate right behind the tent until 11 pm on Thursday and jus wait till 12 AM friday. Th chest is right by the mountain wall behind the tent. Hope this helps
