Kung Lao had return to Earth to chain warriors so he won't be apart of the story.

My sources say that Kung Lao will be playable. This was said back in May along with the likes of Jade, Raiden and Kabal who have all been confirmed. I say don't worry about it. Time will eventually reveal him. I believe he will be playable.

I Hope your right Tgrant. kung lao was my favorite character to use cuz his stances and weapon style were all cool. plus his alt costume was his classic. he was just an all around easy to use fighter that in the right hands raped all. i hope he is back, just so i can wup up on Liu kang's ass with him.

Maybe he's a secret character. If he's not in it, then my guess is that he's training new warriors, or hanging back just in case something happens in Earthrealm.

No offense, but for some reason I seriously doubt you have any sources. You must be using what Konqrr and tgrant says and claiming them as your own. I WAS GONNA SAY THE SAME DAMN THING, if konqrr and tgrant are your sources which i know they are cause i just know those are the guys you are talking about, then i dont really know. They did confirm ben, sektor,kabal, lui kang, and smoke being transparent, and they were all eventually confirmed some 6 months later. But your are right Boon does change things raiden will still probably get his ass kicked by quan chi still and then when he is down about to die he does his spirit bomb shit that blast away the DK army as they were about to finish raiden and sends quan chi somewhere else but raiden still survives.
Shao khan doesnt seem to be in the intro nomore either? and JADE and JAX were a HUGE surprize, as is fujin to be playable when asking boon why fujin is in the main menu of the game in the clouds and Boon laughed and didnt say shit. we really didnt know jade wass playable and they decided to make her playable and to also take her out of the cell and add reiko and stupid ass hsu hao and jarek LOL i hope all of them die!!!
ima ask konqrr if kung lao is playable cause he was right about smoke and lui kang being ghost and zombie WAYYYY before it was confirmed. SOME of those sources even showed me a pic of darrius like 7 months ago and JUST now that pic of darruis is getting to you fans. So i wouldnt call you a liar, but kung lao and kitana arent playable get the fuck over it. OH yea and kitana is the worse player of all time with her stupid fans impale move that makes you lose the fans.
anyway you want quan chi, kitana, or kung lao, train your damn shuginko with their moves and weapons and you have yourself a damn kung lao, or whatever you want. If he aint in use shuginko who can have anybodys fighting styles.

Aberz, Iownyou, there wasn't any need to lay into HoodedGangsta. He was just stating his opinion based on information he has recived from others.

And Fujin may very well be playable. He was being considered. Quan Chi and Shang Tsung are also said to be playble along with Kung Lao and Kitana might be. And Shao Kahn at the present time isn't playable but you will see him in game as something big happens to him story wise.

There's hope! Finally! A comment that wasn't polluted by pettyness or foolishness.

Anyway, it feels really uncomfortable to say, but Siduu is right. All these threads (particularly petitions) concerning returning characters are futile. There's just no way in hell somebody is going to read them, then throw somebody like Rain into the game this late (yes i realise this thread is about Kung Lao).

As far as Kung Lao is concerned, i'm a little disapointed by the fact that it doesn't look like he's returning. If i have a favourite MK character, it's him. Everything else about the game almost makes up for it though.
