as much as i love Kung Lao in Mortal Kombat, I think i could go without him. the fact that my old school faves Mileena and Kabal are back more than make up for it. I'd be satisfied with just knowing he wasn't dead and he dint die. Kitana seems to be alive by Jade and Sindel's story. 2more months and the opening movie will reveal all though.

I think that is Liu Kang is in this game, Kung Lao will be in this game.

If the rumors of Liu Kang being evil are true, then who would be there to stop him? Liu Kang and Kung Lao go way back, and when Liu Kang died in the last game Kung Lao's whole purpose in that game was to avenge his death.

Now, we know that Liu Kang is going to be in a zombie and ghost form. Now, if Liu Kang was brought back in that form, he has unfinished business in the realm of the living.

Mabey the Dragon King had revived Liu Kang to do his dirty work, The Dragon King might have done this because Liu Kang is the champion of Mortal Kombat and the man that defeated Shao Kahn. Now, if I were the Dragon King I would want someone that strong to be fighting for me. Since the Dragon King is a specialist at reviving dead things (his entire army...) then it would be no problem to bring back Liu Kang.

If Liu Kang was brought back from the dead and his spirit was tainted with evil, Kung Lao would be the man to stop that. I have no doubts in my mind that Kung Lao will be in this game. I had always anticipated a feud to start between these two characters. I think this would be very interesting because these two are like brothers and they know every thing about each other.

So brought up this topic about Kung Lao, don't worry because even though Kung Lao might not be mentioned right now, there are so many things that are happening in the plot of MK:Deception that are just screaming out his name.

Just because the game is complete it doesn't mean he isn't playable. You seem to forget that the pics we see aren't those from the time they are seen. They are footage of the game from an earlier date. Kung Lao could very well be in the game.
