This is a toughie for me. On the one hand, I usually tend to like the oldskool fighters better. I just usually don't connect with new characters in their 1st game.
However, I've liked Havik since I 1st read his story. He's my favorite Deception Newb. He seems wise beyond his years, with a method to his madness.
However, I think back to my days, playing UMK3 in the arcade. Now, I could smack that game up and down, until about halfway through the tournament. Can anyone guess why? I remember countless times, I'd come out of that 711 fuming, and my friends would go, "You beat it?" to which I'd reply, "No." to which they immediately retorted, "Jade huh?"
You see, I was a projectile heavy fighter in my former years, and Jade with her shadow dodge, would always, and I mean ALWAYS, get the better of me. My rivalry with Jade was a thing of legend among my friends. They knew, when I saw Jade, I was out for blood.
So as you can no doubt assume, I spent many years hating Jade's guts. However, now in the later years of my youth, I've grown wiser, and have found a liking for Jade which I had previously lacked. Jade was an opponent who could best me no matter what I threw at her. I grew to respect that.
Now, when I originally began to type this post, I was honestly going to vote for Havik. I figured I'd give him a chance. As I said, I like him. He's the best new character I've seen from the game, however... after taking a moment to contemplate things... it pains me greatly, and I really wish the tournament listings had shook out differently, because I would have liked to have shown Havik my support, but I feel obligated to do what I feel I must...

Well.. Since Havik is a crazy mofo and seems to enjoy pain that would be dished out onto him... I vote for him.

Well so far it's 9-10 with Jade in the lead by 1 vote, obviously. So I'm going to vote for Havik.
1. Cause Jade's a bitch haha j/k

2. Havik's fatality just eats the person's arms and I think Jade might have been the first person I did Havik's fatality to.
Think of how much you could ruin a person's life but just eating their arms, and having them know the fact that they live with the memory that YOU ATE THEIR FREAKIN ARMS OFF! I just think that's the funniest thing under the sun. (ugh *spits* that sounded really gay right there)

Back in the day of UMK3, i hated jade b/c she was too good, but i dunno.... havik is just crazy. insanely crazy. but jade is just too skilled to be taken out. so i vote fer jade(that bitch)
