Midway & Nintendo are losing Fans

Mk Deception not on Gamecube!!!.Many Mk fans arent gonna buy new fucking systems just to play the new game.Fucking pieces of shit Midway!

Nintendo is going to lose fans because the new game isnt on Gamecube.even though i own a gamecube and i love the games for it,I have to say...FUCK YOU nintendo.

I dont own PS2 or XBOX and i wont buy one to play fucking MK Deception.Midway and Nintendo will lose alot of sales on that poor decision.

Shut up and learn something. It's not Midway's fault. Only Nintendo.
MK:D is gonna be online, and Nintendo doesn't want online games. And if Nintendo can't handle the fact that it's gonna be online, then screw them. I once Liked Nintendo. Back in the days of the NES and SNES and N64. But I really don't think GC is a good as it could've been. If it were Midway's fault they probably wouldn't have put MK:DA on the GameCube either. They probably would put MK:Deception on GC if it weren't for Nintendo.

I buy games mostly for GC, 3rd party games as well. Yes I am upset that MK6 wont be coming to GC even though it sold well(250,000units). Times like this I am glad that I own a PS2. Also times I like this I wish I had high speed internet so I could get a Xbox and play MK6 on xbox live. right now I am hoping that MK6 is 56k friendly. I my 56k connection is great play jedi academy online with like 20 other people with a low ping(mostly at night and sometimes in the evening). I agree and disagree with you on whos fault it is. **********For example lets say that gamecube games sold alot of 3rd party games just as well as the PS2, and at the same time that Gamecube still didnt have any online plan. Do you think that midway would can a game that would sell alot since there user base buys alot of 3rd party games? hell yea they would, even if gamecube didnt have any online plan***********< end example

I said it before , I'll say it again this is mostly gamecube owners fault that MK6 isnt coming to gamecube. Most gamecube owners buy only 1st party games on gamecube. Most GC owners do since if you look at a game sales chart the only time you see a GC game on the chart is when its a 1st party game. Gamecube owers tha only buy 1st party titles and then cry that MK6 isnt coming to gamecube, wake up and explore great 3rd party titles like splinter cell and spdier man. End the end most GC owners see there gamecube as a Nintendo system instead of a gaming system. So blame the install base of Gamecube owers. I am starting to believe since Nintendo image is almost weaked beyond repair it might be best for this to stay out of the gaming market if the NES 5 doesnt work out. As a gamecube owner that mostly buys 2nd and 3rd party games I am losing faith in Nintendo fans and Nintendo since nither get that gaming is ment to be experianced threw many types. When I mean is that I know that some GC owner buy and try 3rd party games but most dont and Nintendo loses 3rd party support like Midway has dont. When it comes to Nintendo, Nintendo doesn't want to hear what we want(online gaming), they seem they can figure it out all by themselfs, while Sony and Microsoft listen to there fan base.
I hope Cube owners lighten up on non Nintendo mascot titles and try some 2nd and 3rd party games

MKDA didn't sell very well on the Nintendo Game Cube...that combined with the fact that Nintendo doesn't think online play is important is why Midway made that decision. I would be mad too if I had spend money on a game cube..fortunately I learned my lesson when I got an N64 and saw how crappy the game line up was on that system.

Game Cube is a dying system. Trade your GC in and level up to PS2 or, even better, Xbox.

Nintendo ain't got a clue. They are the Micheal Jackson of gaming: Really cool at first, hugely successfull and dominant, then freakin' outa touch with reality. And this is the sick part.. they prefer the little kid games unlike the other, more grown up systems. EW!

Next they'll be dangling kids over railings.

I'm pretty sure it said it's not in development for GCN. If that's the case, Nintendo could still pay a little extra to get the game (even though I'm sure they won't). I thought the GCN version of DA blew the PS2 version out of the water, but unfortunately, I may have to get it for my PS2. As for leveling 'up' to a PS2.... well, I like my PS2, but really, all I play is Final Fantasy and Gran Turismo, that's about it. I also hate how the damn thing overheats while watching a DVD after about an hour and 20 minutes, just in time to fuck up the ending for you.

Big loss for Nintendo, and as a long time fan of Nintendo, I hate to say it, but if they don't get their act together, their done, real soon.

Hopefully they realize that 250 000 are good sales numbers(very good in fact, and anyone who says otherwise has no concept of what good sales are). It was the least sold of the 3 consoles, but to just throw away that user base is just stupid and they will payfor it financially I think. MK6 will be a sure thing no matter what system it comes out for, if we were talking about Smash TV or something, I could see the reasoning for these actions, but not with MK.

i don't think you people understand. mkda was an equal outing for all three systems. now they're pushing online play. if the gamecube version doesn't have any, what's the point in mkaing a version? it'll sell even less because people won't buy a version with offline play only and nintendo fans will be pissed at midway for not making it online. it'll be a lose lose situation. i think they're makingthe right decision.

ppl don't care about the dam online play, they want only a mk game. Even if it is coming out (hardly dought it)for gc which we no it wont, ppl will buy it 2 play the famus mk game...not for online play.

Im not a cube hater, cause some of the games for it I do like... But honestly just go out and get a system if you can remotely afford it. I know it's expensive, but we also don't know the whole side of the story either. Midway could have bargained with Nintendo and Nintendo could have blown them off. Or Nintendo might have asked for Midway to limit certina aspect of MK and midway isntead of pulling another MK1 SNES, just decided to decline the title.

Really whoever said it is a lose, lose situation is 100% correct... Bad for cubers, even worse for nintendo, and midway, being third party really got stuck in the middle of this one.

yeah, I don't care much for the online play, I mean, it would be nice I guess, but I would still get the Cube version over the PS2 and I own both systems.

I think MK6 may still come out for Cube, especially with Midway saying they have yet to make the final decision. Nintendo should not let this opportunity get away, and I think Nintendo has heard the cries and will make the move to snag this title.

Nintendo would not limit their games in any way. The MK1 situation will never happen again for one big reason: Although Nintendo has not changed much, they have changed a little, and their stance on violence, course language and even sexual content and innuendo are no different than any other gaming company these days. To even imply that is ignorant of the many titles that have come out for a Nintendo System since.... Oh let's say MK2 for SNES.

However, I will warn Nintendo, the Cube is an excellent system with excellent games. Unfortunately, people won't give you a chance because you don't go for the most storage space, the most power (although it is superior to PS2 in power), or the most third party support. If Nintendo wanted to, they could pull off a hugely successful launch for their next system, but I fear they won't because nobody at Nintendo of Japan is under 80 and they are all stubborn in their way of business and still think it's 1980.

My solution, let the Americans take over. You can just see the frustration in their words every time they give an interview. The Americans know what the world wants when it comes to this industry, so let them have it, you'll still get money, and you'll still get some credit. NOA could let Nintendo reign once again. Sadly, this won't likely happen.

Just so you know, I'm not American so don't think I'm only saying that because I am an American.

Yeah right... I won't play pikmin or MK6. I'll play the *GAMECUBE exclusive* Resident Evil 4 or just Killer 7 or a classic like Eternal Darkness, a great game I haven't bought yet. Please keep quiet if you're going to make inmature statements.

i'm a proud owner of a gc...and i would like to say i buy third party games...and i wouldnt trade in my gc for nothin...and as for kiddy games?? if resident evil and eternal darkness are kiddy games then so is GTA3...plus why go out and pay 200 dollars for something i already have?? actually with the release of mk6 maybe not bein on gc is not only nintendo's fault but midways...because of the online thing?? there are ways to play nintendo online...and also players like me that own gc's that probably wont see mk6 will most likely boycott midway unless it does get released...plus the gc isnt dying because sales have risen drastically over xmas cause of the price drop but what about sony and xbox?? still sitting at about 200 bucks...to me they are a rip off...if i want a game like gta3 i will get it for the pc...just like i did with halo...but games like mk has to be for a nintendo system....i think it will be a susprise...because nintendo has one thing that sony and xbox doesnt have...excellent compression technology to the point that they will probaby put something extra in the game if they make it...that is just my opinion...

As much as I love your awesome compression idea, and I love Nintendo (more than PS2 and Xbox), and yes they COULD do it (And I think that was, in fact, all you were saying), I doubt the would give the Nintendo version something the others don't have, with the exception of maybe Samus as a secret character (hey Link was in SC2). THe reason for this, is yes, it would sell well on GCN, I would guess 300k-400k units, but the other two systems will still sell better.

That being said, I somehow doubt that Midway would leave the greater population withought the bonus, unless each machine gets something the other doesn't, or it links up to the Gameboy Advance.
