Welcome to MKO. They are each other's best friends I believe. As for the the fight trailer, I don't know. Maybe one of them betrayed each other. It says in Mileena's bio that only Baraka knew her true plans of deception or something like that.

erm DMitch and KitteN your both wrong - well right in some ways but:

Mileena and Baraka aren't best friends there man and wife (married to some extent).

There is no known reason for the two of them fighting it might be to do with Mileena posing as Kitana to command the Edenians to leave Edenia giving the Dragon King the chance to take over it. Only baraka knows of this deceit and that may be why he is fighting her. Or maybe Midway used these two characters in the trailer just to show off the graphical capabilities of the game for adverttsing purposes or maybe i'm just completely wrong nonetheless.

Yeah tyrant, even in their bios it says they are friends, and they are both aligned under "evil", so unless one og them switched sides, I don't see any relevance in them fighting, other than a trailer. But that trailer is fairly long, and looks like it wants to be used in the game, so I'd imagine something happens... theorie? Get Iownyou in here, he had the best theory so far!

I always thought that Shang Tsung could have possibly created a plan with Mileena so that he would morph himself into Mileena and work under the Dragon King's control while Mileena went to Edenia to capture Kitana and pose as her. Baraka could have found out about their plan and the whole fight in the trailer could be Baraka fighting against Shang morphed as Mileena. Baraka could kill Shang's morphed form and this could be the reason for the fall of the Deadly Alliance and the reason for Shang not being in MKD, which I doubt he is. I'm pretty sure that Shang can morph into anyone he wants because look at the intro movie of MKDA when he morphed into Kung Lao and tricked Liu Kang then killed him with the help of Quan Chi. Just my opinion post your thoughts.

and then mk2 came with the beautiful Kitana and bad ass Mileena & Baraka... and since then I'm a HUGE MK fan :)

Its weird because I dont like videogames though except Mario kart LOL and MK :)
