Yeah lol, you can't even compare MK2 to those games, heck, the only decent MK games to play at high level is UMK3 and MKSM, MKDA but barely. I remember when I used to play MK2 a lot, now look at it..

The only thing is i ALWAYS work now and have time for nothing,But on the other hand i dont have money issues anymore and lots more freedom to do what i want.

I been trying to save up for a nice ride but the government hates me for the time that i was unemployed. One thing i did realize though. Its one thing to be a high level player in a videogame,But in real life its priceless.

Yeah, not playing MK anymore has been a blessing for me. As a geek alone, it was a great decision. I'm playing better games, have more time for anime, etc. In the real world, I began DJing, and now I am a producer of music. I'll keep you informed on a big project I'm working on : )

To be honest MK vs DC isn't even in the forecast for me. The more I think about it and the more I talk with unbiased friends, what's the point? The new MK is going to be terrible, stiff, and glitched just like the last 3 games. I may have been the best online player in MKD and MKA, but I'd rather be good at things that have merit. I'd rather get in shape, get decent in a good/respected fighting game and become a talented producer of music than be a top player in MK.

If people with good sense of what a good fighting game is all about tell me that the new MK is actually decent, don't be surprised to see me. However, since that's highly unlikely my time with MK is likely done. Kinda wacky when I reflect on that. I'm 18 and I've been a part of this community with you guys since I was 12 with MKDA. Back when I was playing MKD/MKA at a high level i was 14-16. I could say looking back on it that I was fool and wasted a huge chunk of my "teenhood" on an awful game, but I enjoyed it for whatever reason. I also met friends for life and just really cool people. The community, interesting characters like Dan, Phatgurl, Dave, Check, Quik, Drumz, Riu, G-roy, K-rob, and yourself are what kept me coming back. That, and being great at anything, even a piece of shit game, was pretty cool to me back then.

In an interview or 2, Ed said there would be downloadable content, he also said they would fix any known glitches, so there is still hope for it.

Versa,Im seriously shocked that you dont know how to play chess man thats crazy. I agree with you 100%. I wasted ALOT of time on these games and it held me back from alot of things. Quittin MK was the best thing for me. If i buy a PS3 i will play, but dont expect me to be one of the top players cause it will just be something to do and play instead of be my life.

Well there is still a chance of that happening, Boon does not lie 100% of the time and theres the fact that theres limited time to actually work on the game.

Just picked up a stick to play with on PS3. I will def be on PS3 playing mk vs dc and MK2 until then.

360 does have a decent stick..and its layout is weird...only 6 buttons, and the PS3 has the full 8 that is to be expected.

the only bad this is you cant adjust your button layout with mk2 on PS3...but all the black buttons around the colored ones are block..

i just bought that and i hate how the button layout is. i keep pressing the wrong buttons. i plan on opening it and removing 3 of the black buttons.
