I think that there are certain characters who sorta have a back dropped role in MK, but one thing that needs to be addressed is the whole idea of characters comming and going. For instance Lui Kang... good idea to kill him off.. then we have Kung Lao.. new hero type guy.. then he is nowhere to be found, and now we have lui kang again?

I agree, stop killing off characters and just let them leave a few fights, or as many fights are necessary. Then you don't have to make them zombies just to bring them back when people whine. They don't have to die in order to not be in the game. It's a waste of what could be potentially be a good character with a remake.

Sonya - She is by far HORRIBLE. Her story is boring, stale, and doesnt fit into the MK universe. Actually, she doesnt fit into the MK universe period. Shes way to overrated also, which is suprising. IMO shes one of the most pointless MK characters of all time who plays no important role what so ever in MK. A special forces agent in MK? Pffft.
Tanya - Another worthless character IMO. Only reason she was made is because they decided not to put Kitana in MK4. We already have Mileena, we dont need Tanya!

Jax is the character that I need to see killed off, first and foremost. If I hear him say "Awwwwwwwwwww yeaaaaaaaa" one time, throughout the next thousand years, it'll be too much. I was secretly hoping they'd create an opening FMV to MK: D, as a gag, with every single character, getting a chance to tee off on jax, and use their fatalities on him, one, by one.

His story was dull, his moves were boring...I don't care about the Outworld investigation agency...or anything else that Jax does...he doesn't need to be in any MK games...you can't have two people, cut from the same exact cloth, in these games, over and over again, i.e. Sonya and Jax. Either kill one of them, or choose to leave one of them out of each game...because they're both about the same cause, and they're both boring right now. Turn Jax evil or something...make him Sonya's arch nemesis.

Li Mei - Was just never a big fan...I don't dislike the character, but with her storyline, I just never cared for her in MK: DA, there was nothing about her character makeup, that was gripping...hopefully this changes slightly in MK: D.

Bo Rai Cho - He serves a purpose, storywise...but I just wish he wasn't such a joke, in terms of his fighting style. I don't see it ironic or funny in any kind of way, that this goof, taught two guys, who are as straight as arrows, in Liu Kang, and Kung Lao, I find no irony in this, I just think it's stupid...we need to see a more hostile, violent, serious side of Bo Rai Cho, to make him interesting.

Goro - I want him to stay dead. He's dead in Kitanas ending...he never really had a great story.

Shinnok - Is he considered dead? He was the worst boss MK has ever seen. He will forever be recognized as a bootlegg Shang Tsung. He had some interesting story potential, and still might...but either kill him off, or spice up his story abit, and more importantly, give him a better moveset, if you even THINK of bringing him back...he was an absolute joke in MK4.

Shao Kahn (I loved him as a boss, but he was defeated. Bosses that lose should}=dead for good. his time has passed.)

Stryker (do I even need to say why? but honestly, if he would look cool, he could work. No powers is an awesome theory, but he jsut didn't work out. Next time get a decent looking person!!!! lol.)

Nightwolf (Just a bad, Village People MK3 Cage replacement that didn't take in MK3. A second chance? I say nay. Bad idea, Midway.)

Kabal (I like how Kabal's looking in Deception, and if he turns out ok, he can stay. But come on, he stunk it up in MK3.)

Sindel (boooooooooorrrrrrrring)

Jade and Mileena (Kitana clones. Mileena finally has a decent story, but it STILL involves Kitana!!! NOOOOO!!!! See the ninja complaint for more info on this pick)

Every new character in MK4. (Fujin looked stupid, Jarek looked cool but was a clone, etc, etc. Who could forget this lovable cast of losers?? Oh, wait, most people.)

and Im sure there's more, but that's just off the top of my head. Oh, and actually give characters like Scorpion and Johnny Cage a good storyline for god's sake. Scorpion meting with the elder gods? Yeah, like they would ask a dead dude from hell to help them. Horrible idea.
