Have you noticed how most characters confirmed (or rumoured by magazines) so far are some kind of spectre/undead/monster types? Ermac, Smoke, Noob, Liu Kang's Spirit, Baraka, Kabal, Mileena, The Dragon King, Sub Zero (has no scar, possibly the original Sub), that new undead guy Karn or whatever his name is... makes me wonder what kind of storyline will this game embrace. Seems like it will be some sort of battle for domination between the bad guys with some good guys in the middle... Shao Khan, Quan Chi and Shang Tsung would fit perfectly this set of characters IMO. Maybe the whole storyline is based on a battle between Netherealm and the Outworld?
