MK: Deception, what is your honest oppinion so far?

My first post in here... hehe... anyways... I know that 95% of the people that posts on this Forum are actually a bunch of sick die hard MK fans as I am tongue. Personally I really like what I've read about this game so far, in fact let's put everything together(for those who haven't been able to read all the news):


1. Extensive, highly interactive backgrounds featuring multi-tiled arenas(like on Dead or Alive), deathtraps(like the meat grinder of the trailer), weapons and other traps

2. Characters are faster, and they have more fatalities(at least 2 per char.) and now, at the end of the round you can even perform a Hara Kiri move to kill yourself before your opponent performs a Fatality on you!

3. New mini-games

4. Old favorites returning to the series(Baraka, Mileena, Nightwolf)

5. 100% Online capability

6. Imporved Konquest with a Create a Player capability on it(and you can actually use that player even online)


Pretty impresive I would say... so far so great... anyone wants to share any comments?

I think that Mortal Kombat 6 is going to be the greatest Mortal Kombat ever. from what I've read and see Mortal Kombat 6 easily has the most options of any MK game. Can't wait

So far...is the best Mk game ever. And I havent even played it! But to be the best, Sonya Blade must be in this game.

I cant wait for this game. From everything we've heard so far, this easily beats all this other MK's. Not to mention other fighting games as well.

Why Sonya Blade? shes pretty cool and all, but im actually getting kind of sick of her. I never use her, but then again i guess thats because i dont know how...i like frost, mileena, kitana much better

New cool minigames, EVERY character makes an appearance! Old and new moves, Sindel, Noob, Ermac, Mileena, Baraka, and other cool charac. LOTS of stage fats. (really cool by the way) no invicible walls, FASTER gameplay, more fatalities... I'm sorry... but the only things missing for utterly perfection are Kitana (Which may even be there...) and Friendships....
I'm SO happy... specially since I did NOT like DA... this is a nice surprice from Midway

My honest opinion is that i'm impressed. Most of the people have already stated why it could be the next best Mortal Kombat ever and I agree.

The graphics and concepts are impressive, but until I am actually able to play the game, I cannot really judge it. Even the best concept could turn out to be horrible in actual application.

The game looks really good but I'm worried that the MK team is focusing too much on the eye-candy than on the actual core gameplay. There were a lot of things about MKDA's gameplay that could have been vastly improved and I hope the MK-team has both the time and inclination to do so this time around. Time will tell.

exactly, thats why i dont care if it doesnt realease this year. even if its going to take long time to wait for the game. but hey, we got a life and while waiting for the game if it comes out 2005 then we should move on with our life until it realease. ok bye.............
The eye candy looks good so far.

Im kind of skeptical on how well it's going to play, because of past games.
I'm hoping it's more complex than simple.

It'll be realeased this year...wouldn't be trailors and site up that fast if it wasn't.Of course the game looks good,and will be looking better as release time comes.I look forward to it.

I think MKD is gonna be the BEST fighting game in existance of humanity. (and any game for that matter, not just fighting.)

It looks great, I hope it plays as good as it looks, the new Barka looks good, the stage fatalities look good, two fatalities and a sucidiality (hari kari) sound great, online gameplay and also a creat-a-charcter option well almost.

So far, I think that MKd is looking to be the best Mk ever! There's so much new stuff and a load of options! It just needs Raiden and it'll be the best game ever!

I'm excited!
The character and backgrounds look as detailed as ever and really expand on the look that deadly alliance gave, which was a pretty special look.
The fantasy and realistic elements are the two main attractions in MK, fantasy in the beautiful design & real in the expanded fighting & blood, these elements are the reasons why MK:DA surpassed all next gen beat-em-ups & MK:D will go beyond that =)

unless it doesnt come out for gamecube,then i think its DUMB.
