i don't agree.

when i beat the game with him in deadly alliance it seemed that bo rai cho had cleaned up a little. i don't mind that bo rai cho gets drunk, i just disliked him farting and puking.

i posted many things regarding this topic on other people's threads. i believe that bo rai cho won't be annoying as he was in deadly alliance. but if he is, then i would really regret all the positive things i am saying about this character.

I like him alot and wish they would make him fatter and dirty. Not every fighter in the world is skinny and fit. I wish there were more big people in mk.

you know, using druken kung fu doesnt actually mean you are drunk when you use it. and anyway there will be another 20+ characters to fight with and also since he is in the game you will be able to kill him in loads of different ways with all the finishers and death traps.

I HATE that loser. I wish he had been killed. If he didn't fart and puke I wouldn't mind. But just even the name annoys me (It means "Drunk" in spanish). To me, is a very pathetic, very stupid attempt of a joke. If MK is meant to have a joke character then bring back Johnny Cage, he's funny, full of himself and A LOT more likeable than that fat asshole.

He could have been replaced with Jade, IMO, and play a part just in Konquest, and also be on on the "unlockable, but not on the select screen" people from DA. Jade would fit in this game perfectly, I just wish they would have thought about doing more with her.

Bo Rai Cho isn't one of the greatest designs, but I'm glad they have a heavy character now. It was stupid how every Mortal Kombat character was the exact same size proportionately.

There are a lot worse characters in Mortal Kombat, such as Cyrax(C-3PO), Reiko, Kai, Jarek, Frost, Stryker, Mokap, and Blaze. I see Cyrax as more of a detriment to the dark mood than Bo'Rai Cho. Robots don't belong in Mortal Kombat. Great martial artists do.

BoRaiCho could have been replaced by a more important character (why not enhancing Kitana by returning her back in MK6 with her fans throws from MK2, if so Kitana will look much better. Unfortunately, The lack of her fans throws in MK5 made her look like a loser).

BoRaiCho is not really a humorous character like it is supposed to be, he's only funny for the 1st impression (for few seconds). Though he is powerful enough, I think the MK team's main aim is to introduce a humorous character to somehow decrease the aggressiveness of the game for some reasons and this doesn't fit MK.

Although I would rather have someone else back, I'm willing to give Bo Rai Cho another chance. His design is already a large improvement. The excessive facial hair gives him a sleeker look, and his costume no longer has the dull color scheme.

But I don't see why people keep comparing him to Li Mei as a worthless character. I always liked Li Mei.

i wouldn't mind a huge power character to slug it out with the sub boss, there would be so many possibiltiesand would be good to see how the regulars would handle them.

I definitely think there are many more characters who deserve a place in Deception more than Bo Rai Cho does. For example, Kitana, Jade, Shang Tsung, Kung Lao. I am just hopin that the MK team only put him in the E3 line up because they had completed him, and that he will, as originaly thought, only feature in Konquest mode. I thought all of the characters new to Deadly Alliance were all very weak, and dont think Li Mei deserves to be back either.

He was farting and burping and throwing up all over at e3 and it was great. I am 38 years old and love the fart jokes. Thanks Boon for making a character that is Fat. Long live the fart man. DSB

I agree. That is one weak and boring character design. He's taking up a space for new or returning playable characters. Come on Midway, this was what you came up with. For that matter, kick Mavado out, too. Rubber bands my ass.

I didn't like Bo Rai Cho too much as I character...on that level I agree with many of you. But, I believe he plays the role of a trainer nicely, he's not your average, amazingly buff, impossible to live up to trainer. He's a guy who'll teach ya stuff, get his ass handed to him later on the line, then help you find a better sensei. I think midway made a risky, but good choice in placing Bo Rai Cho in this spot. But as I've said before, he is uh...awkward when seeing him in the tourney 0_o, BUT, better than not having him to play with at all...

I agree 100% while i don't think him being in the game will make me like any less i'd much rather see a different character in his place Bo Rai Cho sucks his story is somewhat ok cause it fills in a lot of gaps for Liu Kang and Kung Lao him being their master and all but i'd still rather have him just in the storyline mabye in a few FMV's not as a playable character

I liked him. The farts/burps didnt even get to me at all. I thought they were hilarious. His puke move was kinda whack right but thats still cool. I really dont mind if hes back. Besides he looks alot cooler like TempUserName pointed out. So yeah hes a gravy addtion to MKD

Bo Rai Cho can be a master trainer as much as he wants, just keep him out of the actual fray. I also agree with whomever mentioned Mavado as a jackass. Those stupid rope things aren't weapons, they look like things a kid would play with. It's been a while since a quality new character was added. I think that it is going to happen in Deception, though. I', looking at YOU, Hotaru!
