I agree. I feel that their are still great 2D games out there. Look at Veautiful Joe for instance. I feel that if the developers could present the new MK in a 3D style but with 2D gameplay it would be awesome. Make all the graphics 3D but then amke the gameplay 2D. It's not impossible, developers have been doing it for years. Because without the ariel aspect of the games (which is the key signiture of the games) MK isn't MK. Whoever said it was there first attempt at 3D in MK:DA I want to correct you by saying that MK 4 was the first 3D MK game.

Okay I wanna ask everyone a question, since mk4 is a 3d game, should we just scratch that and make a true 2D mk6 game like mk3, not counting mk4 ofcourse because mk4 is 3d.

As much as I loved and ADORED Mortal Kombat in 2d, I think they should continue with 3D. MK6 won't be like MK5, it'll be much better. I'm not really feeling the cartoon look either but it's not so bad and it isn't THAT cartoony...it's all good.
