anyone notice when they were talking about the comic con character reveals, they mentioned the dc characters. then they said they'd set the world on fire...gotta be firestorm. has to be.

Liu Kang? Hmm. Didn't think he still had a really strong fan base. Oh, he's iconic alright. But once again, this is why I think Iconicness is a shitty standard.

But this isn't so bad. I would have taken Liu Kang over many of the already confirmed characters, and by the way, if there's any reason operating in Vogel and Boon's head, if there's even a sparkle...

Captain Marvel is a surprise though. Good for him...he rarely gets shown much outside the comics.

Wow, so far only MK1 characters have been confirmed. I won't complain if Kano, Johnny Cage, Raiden, Goro and Reptile made it in. Add Shao Kahn and Kitan in, and that's all the MK characters right there. I wouldn't complain if the roster is like that.

Seriously, now all we need is Johnny Cage, Raiden, Reptile, Kano, and Goro and we'll have the entire 7/11 characters taken up from MK1. I want to see Smoke and Stryker come in on this! I know it's only a dream, as neither of them are iconic... Oh well, I knew Liu Kang would be up, but I'm surprised that Captain Marvel is being used.
