You gotta pay to play online on XBOX???

I hope that it has 2 months free.I once had XBL but got rid of it.I didn't even use it for a whole year. There were no games I really liked for it. BUT MKD changed that. It might be worth getting back...2 months would be nice.
2 months free service(just for purchasing MK) sounds good!
I don't know much about PS2 but I think PS2ers play for free right?

ps2=free. XBOX should be too, I think paying for something that requires broadband that costs heaps anyway its stupid.

What, like this is some kind of revelation or news flash? Xbox Live costs about $10 a month or so, less if you buy in yearly plans. This is not any big deal for anyoone that plays alot online or has alot of games that have downloadable content which is more and more games every day. It is definetly worth it. PS2 uses a Gamespy add-on and doesnt offer downloadable content. Think about it...Gamespy...*shudders*

YEs it probably will come with a free 2 month trial card. XBOX.com has the game's release date on their XBL calender of events. Every game so far I bought that was on the calender came with 2 months free.

I believe even though its free for two months its a binding agreement and there is some sort of contract that you have to purchase more months, but Im not entirely sure.

PS2 online is so unorginized different name for every game, you have to pay for some games to play online, its done by GameSpy, no downloaded content. 10 bucks a month is well worth seeing as how much better it is then PS2 online, all you PS2 fanboys should go over to a friends house and play Live and realize how much better it is. If i can afford Live and a cable modem and still be able to pay my rent then its not to pricey because i'll tell you i'm poor.

This is how Xbox Live work . Between $49.99-69.99 You can get a starter kit . The Kit will included 12 month subscription , the headset and a full verison of a game ( I got Crimson Skies) . After that it is 4.95 a month or 49.99 for another 12 months. The 2 free months works just as it sounds . After the two months expires all that you have to do is cancel the service. So I am not sure where you guys are getting 10 bucks a month from. X-Box Live is outstanding .
