OKay, i am probably dumb but watching videos, i noticed that when scorpion throws his spear blood doesnt gush out like in MKDA. Is MKD not as bloody? and whats with those dumb red flashes that happen when you hit people sometimes?

I have to agree that it has tons of blood in it, and not that crappy over-the-top kind either. No billions of ribcages, skulls or femurs like MK3/UMK/MKT. Little-to-no fleshy popcorn balls like in MKDA. Just good ol' fashioned violence and gore. Thats what MK is about.

Mortal Kombat is just like a good piece of steak.

Who cares how bloody it is, as long as it tastes oh so good? wink

you make a mean point man. but still, what if the steak could be just a little more enjoyable with some extra sauce?

The red flashes indicate counter hits.

Maybe the screens you saw was the use of the "options" screen as to modify the amount of blood shown.

i didn't like the thousands of bones that flew out in troilogy, the popcorn meat chunkes could be good if they used it right.

in expolisons some meat chunks would mak it more real
MKD is defenitly the bloodiest yet. but I understand what you mean. the blood looks like little circles just falling and not staying.. they need more reelasitic blood

I remember in early video that i saw people getting hit and the blood was just spurting out, now it seems every video after that is toned down and look like red marbles when you get hit. The really small (red marbles) look good when there all close together, they look like proper blood and I think they should use just that and not the HUGE red marbles.
I think if they use the popcorn bits, either make them stay and not fade or dont use them at all, fading looks stupid.

If it hasn ́t been stated yet I have the answer to the question

Scorpions spear not as bloody = the blood detail is set to medium. Start up deadly alliance, set it to medium, throw his spear and you will see the exact same amount of blood coming out.

So that vid is not max on blood. But The game will be( I believe) .

Fatalalities are bloody as hell. The fighting might not produce enough blood for your tastes. But you'll be satisfied when you see your opponent lying in a puddle of his/her own blood with their organs sticking out.

Red popcorn anyone.
Yes, it's got to be because of the blood setting. The videos are accessible to everyone, so they take it down for the ratings and such.

In Baraka's fatality, the blood isn't puddling, it's just spraying into the ground and disappearing. I dont know if they will include large puddling but lets hope so. grin
