Oh the nay saying. NOPE, Never, Come on we need a little excitment here and there. If it comes out sweet, If it doesn't it is still cool. We had something to look forward to. Barnes & Noble can still be sued for false advertisement right? Yeah if they don't come threw, we will all firebomb there stores. And beat,stab,kick,punch and kill there employee's. Im going to the store with a bat and walking in and telling the employee of the month, I AM GOING TO ASK YOU FOR A GAME GUIDE IF IT IS NOT HERE YOU ARE GOING TO GET THIS BAT SHOVED UP YOU ANUS. You know what would happen the would bring you a MKDA guide. Ok enough I am out before this turns into a fight. Elephant turds on three ready...break, DSB

It'll be out the 28th of September. I apologize for bursting anyone's bubble. If it does happen to come out next week (4 days.) You'll be getting a bunch of shit stapled together, because Boon still has time to fiddle with the game and change things. Some of you don't understand that, and I know it'll happen.

Smartest thing is to not say anything regarding this. If it comes out this week, this site will be flooded with pics and scans of every single page of that book. If it doesn't, then oh well, it's just another month before the same thing happens. I'll be checking my local B&N this week, if it's there it's there, if it's not it's not. I do believe that we won't be seeing the strat. guide until the last week in September, but I wouldn't want to miss it if it comes out this week.

I agree that the guide probably won't come out this week, but I disagree with those who think this is so because the game isn't complete. MKD comes out October 4th, right? We're almost at the end of August, if they're not done by now, they probably won't reach that deadline.

Assuming they don't rush it, that is. smile

Resolution found. Bradygames.com, the makers have everything listed in order, and updated weekly. Amazon/ BarnesandNoble don't. Barnes also has GTA:SA listed for a similar date with MK D, which is highly unlikely. Brady hasn't even listed MK:Deception's guide in their Coming Soon, which means it'll be out in 2-3 weeks, if it pops up there. It wasn't listed for 2-3 months. Highly unlikely. Everyone expect to see the guide on shelves before October, but not this soon. September 20th at it's soonest. No spoilers 'til then.

Hope all of this helps. Remmeber...I AM the one who contacted Brady about the guide.

If it comes out this week great, if not its still ok. But the gameplay is finished, so a guide right now would not be a crap guide. With a little over 1 month to go till the game release trust me they are done, right now it is just going through game testing and fixing up little bugs and glitches and stuff like that.

And a guide coming out this early isnt surprising, I remember getting a MKT guide way before MKT came out, and all the information was accurate too if I may add.

IMO, they'd have to release an additional strategy guide when the GCN version of the game comes out. They'd have to cover the special features, and what if there's a new character(s) or something ?

They will for the GCN version, only because they do it for everything else. If I recall they do the GC version guides better, I don't know why, but they do. I think Prima also covers GCN guides, as well, I might be wrong. So there may be two different guides for Mortal Kombat Deception.
