Out of all due respect, I don't think that game would be very big, just because of the character list. None of the fan favorites are really in. Raiden isn't there, Kabal isn't there, etc. But you put in Stryker and Kai.


I agree with the bosses you have there though. I believe that Kintaro should come back since many people want him back, and Shinnok deserves a second chance. That I agree with. Some of the other things I agree with too, such as Kahn being resurrected. I think Liu Kang should stay evil from now on though. Just my personal opinion.

Just some things i want to point out as to why i think it sucks.

1. Elder Gods ressurect Liu Kang.

Why would the Gods ressurect liu kang? The usually just stand by and watch things happen. That is basically why raiden quit being one joined the fight against the deadly alliance. Anyway his soul is in posession of Shang tsung. If anyone were to ressurect liu kang it would be Raiden. He did afterall bring cage back to life although someone said that midway admitted that it was stupid to kill him in the first place and decide to overwrite it but i think that its still under dispute.

2. Raiden dies of wounds and appoints fujin protector of Earth and sub zero and liu kang guardians of Earth.

Raiden is immortal and wouldn't really die easily although since he did release his energy it might be possible. Although i think only another one as equal or more powerful could destroy him. As for fujin being appointed to protector of earth, that was already done in MK4 of course it done seem reason enough to question why he wasn't fighting alongside raiden in MKDA. As for appointing liu kang and sub zero as guardians of earth is kinda stupid. Every good guy is basically a guardian of their realm and help others fight against evil. Besides sub zero already reformed the lin keui to protect earth as demonstrated in his story. Raiden would also most likely appoint Kung lao as a guardian since afterall he is listed on his ally list which sub zero isn't, but doesn't mean he isn't an ally. But like i said every good character is techinacally a guardian of their realm whether appointed or not.

3. Darrius returns with ashrah to realm of order.

We don't really know enough about these two to make a valid ending as to what they would do. And as to why ashrah would go with him since she's a demon huntress.

4. Sindel dies from wounds and appoints Jade and Rain as generals.

This just sounds like the Raiden story all over again. I bet Jade and Rain are already high ranking officers in the edinian army since they are the only good guys from edinia that appear in the games.

5. Sonya fights tekunin while kabal frees stryker.

Although sonya and her special forces would be a target by the tekunin i doubt she would fight them alone. I imagine that they would target sub zero and his clan first before going after special forcers. Besides so far sonya hasn't been confirmed.

6. Mileena, baraka, hotaru, havik, jax, nightwolf, kenshi, kobra, ermac, li mei, tanya, bo rai cho killed. Smoke killed by scorpion. Shujinko vanishes.

Thats a fucking shit load of people to be killed off not to mention important people as well as new people who we don't even know yet. And i don't know why scorpion would kill smoke since he isn't necessarily his enemy. Smoke is probably assisting sub zero to defeat the dragon king and really wouldn't get in scorpions way. Why would shujinko vanish? He is pretty much like the next liu kang so i doubt he would just dissapear when there could be more threats to earthrealm.

7. Reiko helps revive shao kahn.

Why would reiko revive shao kahn when he serves shinnok. Kahn would just serve as an opposition to shinnok.

8. Brothers of shadow decide earth must be destroyed.

Why would they decide that, let alone come to that conclusion. That just basically isn't a good story.

9. Original sub zero is revived.

There would have to be a good story for him being there. You may only want him back since you just want him back ragardless of whether he has a good story or not.

10. Reptile returns to Zattera.

Reptile can't return to Zattera since it was destroyed by shao kahn as was told by reptiles ending in MK4. So there aren't any more warriors. And chameleon and khameleon are official cannon characters.

Why would Reiko revive Shao Kahn? Hmmmmm... why would Shinnok send Noob Saibot to help Shao Kahn in the first place? Learn the histroy.

I know the history. Probably better than you. Shinnok only sent noob to spy on him and appear to be his ally then turn on him and kill him. If hes already dead there is no need to revive him.

Maybe Reiko could do the same thing.. HMMMMMM interesting..

Nah, I like it! The fact u brough Kai back was a good idea only because I dont think he really had a big story in MK4/MK Gold which I think he should come back with an even bigger story. I dont like the fact u brought back Stryker...not my favorite character.

I like the way Shinnok and Kintaro are bosses...really good idea!

Thanks! People need to give Stryker a chance he might have sucked in MK3 but with the new styles he could kick ass.

I don't care much about the MK storyline, however, if Scorpion is in the game I'm almost fine with it.

MK7 will be called Mortal Kombat: Eternal only because I said so.

Mortal Kombat 7 will be on next-generation consoles, so, let us all hope that Midway goes back to the digitized (real-life) actors that made the original MKs so great.

If Midway could only find a way to capture real-life actors in 3D, it would be a GREAT and MARVELOUS videogame revolution that would really spark extremely high interest back into the MK series!

The real actors can only be in 2D because they are made with 2D video cameras.
