Earlier today I got in my e-mail a response from a Midway source, I asked him, yesterday, about the so called final secret, or at least to tell me how to do the version code. However, he said there's another hidden secret, with this one not only you can see the infamous version code, but a great hidden menu would be placed bellow the Kript menu:
Extra Options
- Stage Fatalities ON/OFF
- Weapon Fatalities (alternate) ON/OFF
- Progressive Character Damage ON/OFF
- Weapon Impale Reversals ON/OFF
The only odd thing about this is that you can only turn one or two options at one time, for example; option 3 and 4 can go on together, but you can't combine either of the two with 1 and/or 2; 1 and 2 go ON only one at a time, not together, etc. Other odd thing, is that there's not a list of moves to do the stage fatalities or weapon fatalities. However, the progressive damages look way cool, to bad it doesn't go that far, only blood marks and some of the characters costumes ripped.
The good thing is that when you are playing on arcade mode, and in a stage with a pool, like the Acid Bath, the CPU opponent would eventually take you into the acid: AWESOME, reminds me of the pool stage at MKII, but trust me, cooler. You can also see them taking impales away from their bodies, too bad I haven't been able to figure out things myself. As far as weapon fatalities, I haven't seen any.
Don't worry, I'll share the code! I have only done this on the Cube version, think it will work on any version:
1. Finish Konquest Mode will all characters
2. Unlock all Kript Koffins
3. At the Krypt (already completed) go to Drahmins unlockable koffin UR (must have 6500 sapphire koins) and buy it (again).
4. Get out from the Krypt place the cursor over "The Krypt" section (don't enter)
5. Do the button combination "2, 4, 4, 2, 4, 2, 3"
6. A voice will comfirm it worked well (it will say "Fancy!"), the "Extra Options" menu will appear bellow the Krypt.
While I don't know the buttons name for Xbox or PS2 here it's conrol legend for GameCube:
1: B
2: Y
3: A
4: X
I was going to put this at my website but my editor got deleted... Hope you guys enjoy and figure out at least one stage or weapon fatality. You will enjoy the progressive damage a lot, anyway!
