I'm going to start by saying that I loved Kung Lao's Fatality in Deadly Alliance. Then i'm going to say, that Jax's sucked. That was a horrible Fatality. Jax never had a Fatality that really impressed me. Kung Lao usually did, except in MK Gold.


I'm surprised that Kung Lao is not in MK:D, or if he is, i'm surprised he hasn't been confirmed yet. He is one of my favorite MK characters ever. The only way I see him not being in this game, since Liu Kang is in, is if Liu Kang comes back and kills Kung Lao. That's the only way I can see them leaving him out.

You liked Kung Lao's fatality in Deadly Alliance? Why was it so great? Throws the hat halfway into the head, walks over, kicks it up? I really don't get how anyone could like that, I like fatalitys that are gruesome not boring. I think jumping on someone's head is pretty gruesome, don't you?

I just have a hard time understanding how anyone could like Lao's fatal in Deadly Alliance. He didn't do anything, let alone something that would kill a person. You never liked the arm rip or head smash, with bare hands? I loved em.

Perhaps the producers are themselves being deceptive. They are probably reading all these Mortal Kombat forums on the web and are laughing their heads off over the arguments and confusion. My hope is that Boon purposely has not confirmed Kung Lao or the others simply to make us assume they are not in the game, and reveal them as a surprise.

Yes Jax's was 10x better in DA. Dude, Kung Lao didn't DO anything!!! Ok im getting pissed off and frustrated I can't talk abut this anymore all the good characters are going to be left out of the game because of whiners.

I hope that Sonya, Kung Lao, and Johnny Cage are in it but I'd rather see someone like Kitana instead of Jax (only good in MK2 - DA fatality sucked ass like most did) It would be kewl if they were in the prison stage and u had to unlock them with a key (like the guy dropped in one of the videos of Konquest mode when u ran into him) along with Jade, Drahmin, Fujin, and Jarek!

I have to agree with him. Though I think Jax fatality sucked bad, so did Kung Laos. IMO.

Anyway, like most already said, Sonya, Johnny Cage and Rayden are a must in the games. Mk is not the same with out the originals!

nightwlf goes in outworld but he hasnt met up with the others in earthrealm, he didnt know where they were i guess, so he went to outworld he aint waiting fro his friends he wants to get some action/

cyrax and kenshi got stuck in outworld, cyrax is in the prison cell though.

subzero, hmmmm he got in somehow.

subzero is the only mortal, cept borai cho
, he was porbably looking for lui soul or something before the portal got destrpyed and he got trapped in.

li mei she is a DK army body now.

thats how they got in. good taking the DA fighters would have taken too much rooom and we have the classic fighters in this one, and mk7 will get the jailcell ones that didnt make this game. that would make the entire roster of MK ppl that didnt die.

then mk8 could have them all from MKDA mk:D and mk7. that would be a smart way to do things wouldnt it?


WHAT if reiko was in those prison cells too, and it shows his head sliced by some kind of sword.

BOON should tease us by doing that to reiko, so we all think he was the decoy for khan, but later find out reiko got stabbed by a DK spear stick and it had nothing to do with MKDA and khan was the one stabbed.

Well, Im happy with the new roster. I love all the MK characters, so Im not going to be dissapointed if a few of the classics arent in. Sidez, they were just in MKDA, so the underdogs deserve a chance.

jax ripped out his arms when earth was invaded in mk3 and put on metal arms

we're all talking about these guys, but maybe they aren't in the game (as playable characters) because of some backstory that we don't know for now, let's just wait for the game to see.


IMO, I just would like to have kung lao (gotta love the hat) of the rest, I don't care about them...
