You all might recall about a year and a half ago, I created a thread called the 'Official Character Story Speculation Thread'. That thread was stickied to the MKD forum for about 4 or 5 months and allowed us all to share our theories together. It was a huge success, and I figured that we might as well try again. Even though there is no word on a Mortal Kombat 7, and there probably will not be for another year or more, its as good a time as any to speculate and create ideas for the returning characters of Mortal Kombat. Hopefully I will be able to get this thread stickied and it will be a long standing source of inspiration and hype. Maybe, just maybe one or two of the MK design team members will venture a look and draw inspiration from our ideas...lord knows they've done it in the past (*cough*Noob Saibot/Sub-Zero*cough*). Just follow a few simple rules, and enjoy!
Rules of submission:
1) Existing Characters ONLY!
Do NOT use this thread to create new characters. There will be another thread for that. This thread is intended for you to speculate on and create stories for EXISTING Mortal Kombat characters. This includes, but is not limited to, Mortal Kombat thru Mortal Kombat Deception. Special cases exist in MKM:Sub-Zero, MK:D Konquest mode, and the upcoming MK: Shaolin Monks. Stories, characters and other blasphemous material from the MK movies, tv shows, Malibu Comics and cartoons DO NOT COUNT!
2) No spamming/flaming
That should go without saying. Don't waste thread space by making useless comments, and don't flame people's ideas...some of them will be genius, alot of them will be ridiculous, but they are all people's ideas. Just give them some constructive criticism if you don't like them and move on.
You can make as many comments as you wish...if you are going to comment on a partcular story, try to truncate it when/if you quote it in your own post to save space.
3) No bumping
Don't promote your own stories and don't recopy them...i.e., don't waste thread space by posting "did you like my story? was it cool? was it this? was it that?" after you write it, and don't copy it and post it again later in the thread to bump it back into view. Maybe at some point down the line we will create a showcase thread, picking out the best of the stories. Feel free to reference your old stories, just don't repost them.
4) Be Serious
If you don't want to participate, then just don't. We don't need anyone coming in making ridiculous posts because they think this is stupid, or they think its funny to just come in and post bullshit. We're all aware that there are people on the forum that hate MK, and for some God-forsaken reason, they stick around here anyway. We don't want those types of people screwing around in this thread. So the bottomline is: come here to participate, or don't come here at all.
5) Be Creative and Have fun
Like it says, just be creative and have fun. Don't copy other people's stories and try to pass it off as your own, and don't waste thread space bashing other people. This thread is all about creativity, so we're looking for originality, and we want to see lots of comments and opinions. And try to earn yourself some Dragon Points...I'm sure the mods will reward those few exceptional tales with a DP or two, so if rank really matters to you, think of that as your prize. Try hard and remember, its just a game. But its got a great story.

Synopsis/Story either from first person, like in MKD, or the traditional way. By writing out the story the traditional way you'll be able to incorporate more detail. Then, if you want, create what you think their bio will be from the first person view point, or keep with what you are already doing. Personally I like the old way rather than the MKD way, but to each his own.

To make MK7 the best fighting video game ever, the following characters should not be left out:
Sektor: He could have his rockets fly in 3D
Sareena: Everyone knew her from TE and she was a beautiful character
Shinokkz: Since MK6 had alot of old characters, shinokz is one of the few that wasnt included in mk5 or 6
some others include fujin, and reiko!

all of them should return. with the whole one-being problem, this concerns everybody. it wouldn't be as bad if Shinnok or Shao Kahn would win, because then you would live. if the one being wins, then we cease to exist

Kano: has earned a reputation of cheating death and coming back every other game (MK1, MK3, MK5... MK7?). his rivalry with Sonya has never been resolved, so it would be gay to let Mavado kill him

I think that Liu Kang should return, since there's good drama in the storyline of him vs. Raiden and of course we need to find out who reanimated his body.

Shinnok
I think that his status as a one-game wonder(not counting MKM) should finally be relinquished. Shinnok, if correctly done, would have a terrific story and could factor greatly into the next MK as a Neutral candidate. Here is my take on it:
After Quan Chi's betrayel, Shinnok was utterly destroyed. Having been tricked by Quan Chi with a false amulet, Shinnok was unable to use his powers to destroy the sorcerer, and thus was victim to his own scheme. Using the true Amulet, Quan Chi destroyed Shinnok. However, Shinnok had not been completely destroyed. As he was once a powerful Elder God, it would take more than a simple beam of energy from the Amulet to silence an Elder God...
During the events that follow, Shinnok's essence drifts aimlessly through the void. The Netherealm, now leaderless, is in a state of upheavel. Though without physical form, Shinnok is able to witness key events unfold. With disgust, he sees Raiden ascend to the pantheon of Elder Gods. With bitterness, he witnesses Quan Chi escape the Netherealm with the Amulet. But with particular interest, he witnesses the death of Liu Kang and the events of Deadly Alliance.
Shinnok is then shocked to see the rebirth of Onaga first hand. He now knows that something far greater is afoot. He is also amazed that Scorpion, who in a certain way is one of Shinnok's very creations, has become the Champion of the Elder Gods. But Shinnok soon feels a strength grow within him. With the rebirth of the Dragon King, a tremendous shockwave rips through Outworld. The shockwave travels from realm to realm, unbalancing the Furies and briefly gripping all realms in chaos. During that moment, Shinnok finds his essence drawn irresistably to a familiar place...
Deep in the Netherealm, Shinnok's essence forms into a spectral image...Shinnok has returned. However, he is without a stable physical form thanks to Quan Chi and must find an alternative. Deep in the secret chambers of his abandoned fortress, Shinnok forges himself a suit of armor that he may now inhabit. Bonding with the suit of armor, he now takes a physical form, very similar to Noob Saibot in that it is a spectral, yet physical form.
During the events of Deception, Shinnok secretly travels the Netherealm until he finds the same portal that allowed Quan Chi to escape. Mysteriously, it reacts to him and grants him access. Shinnok escapes the confines of the Netherealm, and upon stepping through the portal, he finds himself with a powerful new ability: he can travel through the Void between realms at will, appear anywhere and witness any event he chooses. One particular event concerning Raiden and a familiar mortal catches his eye...
Shinnok, I imagine, would be a key player in the next MK. Now a neutral entity, Shinnok is a bit of a wild card...he would undoubtedly work only for himself, but he may gain certain allies along the way. If MK keeps with the self-descriptive bios in the next game, here is my take on Shinnoks bio...

I have traveled the void for what feels like an eternity, but I have new knowledge...new power at my disposal. In my time of wandering, I have witnessed many events that may very well undo the existence of all realms. I have since taken to bonding my essence with a suit of armor I forged from the most ancient and powerful materials in the realms. Though he may have forever banished my physical entity, Quan Chi could not succeed in destroying me...it shall take more than a mere trinket to destroy an ELDER GOD!
I have taken it upon myself to regain my lost power. However, I find that I may have to put my own personal goals aside, and ally myself with those I once called enemies, for I sense a dark presence within the Dragon King, and I have sensed its growing strength since I witnessed Onaga's rebirth from the Void. I beleive the One Being has awoken, somehow. It works through Onaga to orchestrate the merging of the realms and thus bring Itself back from banishment. This must not be allowed to occur. I will need allies...powerful allies, to help me regain my power. Shao Kahn has proven useful in the past, though he remains weakened. However, my eye is set on a mortal from Earthrealm, who once aided me in the Netherealm. I shall take personal pleasure in denying Raiden his penance, though I must admit...I am quite impressed with Raiden's sudden turn of face. He may yet prove useful to me...
I am picturing Shinnok as a kind of armored figure, but the armor would resemble what he previously looked like. So, in essence, he would wear a suit of armor that mimics what he once looked like in his original, physical form. If you have ever seent he anime Outlaw Star, think of the main enemy Hazanko. Picture that kind of suit of armor inhabited by Shinnok. He would bleed a sort of glowing blue, since he is an ethereal, spectral being. His alternate would be less gaudy than the primary, looking almost identical to his MK4 look, except for the fact that he wouldn't truly have skin and a face, it would only be a crafted replica of his former self. I would imagine a third alternate where he is wearing a black cloak and hood, and the face mask is visible in the hood. Think of Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidius.
Shinnok would be very powerful. Instead of mimicking people's moves, he would have his own, powerful moveset with unique styles (though I hope they would have a different fighting system setup for MK7). He would have projectile and teleportation techniques. Shinnok would be a very powerful character that can hold his own, instead of just mimicking others.
Special Moves:
Ethereal Blast: Using some of his own spectral energy, Shinnok unleashes a blast of fast-moving, coiling blue energy that causes knockback on the opponent. It would have no maximum range.
Teleport: Shinnok's body armor would completely disassemble and, at lightning speed, fly behind the opponent and form up once again.(think of Cyrax's disassembling teleport in MK3, but instad of going off screen it just flies on the side of the opponent and ends up behind.) Cannot be interrupted.
Energy Absorption: Any projectile (Except Scorpion's spear) thrown at Shinnok when he performs this move while be absorbed by him and converted into health proportionate of the damage that the projectile does. In the event that the projectile does no real damage (such as Sub's freeze), he would gain approximately 7% health back.
Levitate: Shinnok would lift about 5 feet off the ground and be fully controllable in flight. His levitation would be similar to Sindel's levitation from MK3. While levitating, he may teleport, fire an Ethereal Blast, momentarily disassemble to avoid projectile or physical strikes, and do a ground-stomping move that can disorient an opponent.
Ability Theft: Shinnok will cast any projectile attack that his opponent has.
Ethereal Strike: Shinnok would momentarily abandon his armor to do a dashing strike. If blocked, his ethereal form would burst into sparks (like a projectile) and the armor would immediately be re-inhabited by Shinnok, with a 1 second stun. However, if it connects, the opponent will take about 20% damage and be knocked back.
Fatality 1: Shinnok draws the life essence form his opponent, absorbing it through a blue energy from the opponent's body. The opponent would rot while still alive, until the body collapses in a heap. Shinnok would then removed the helmet/head armor, and he will have regained his physical form. He laughs evilly.
Fatality 2: Shinnok shoots arcs of electricty from his hands. The opponent struggles and writhes on the ground in pain (Think Luke and Emperor from RotJ). As this occurs, the opponent's flesh sears and burns. The opponent begins to leave a bloody and burned smear on the ground underneath him/her, and then catches fire. The fire is a hellish blaze that goes out quickly, leaving a charred skeleton.

They hack and slash, leaving a bloody mess, and then begin tearing the foe apart, limb by limb. The effect is different every time. The portal begins to close, until one demon hand reaches out, grabs what remains of the victim, and drags it into the portal, leaving a bloody smear on the ground. Flesh chunks, torn limbs, bones, still remain on the ground, but the main part of the body is dragged into the Netherealm.
Fatality 4: Shinnok creates a portal behind the opponent. He throws an ethereal blast at the opponent, who flies into the portal. The portal closes, and then reopens, facing the ground from about 10 feet up, and it spews out a horribly mangled corpse.
Fatality 5: A nod to classic Shinnok fatality, he summons a giant hand from a portal. The skeletal hand grabs the opponent, slams him/her into the ground several times, leaving a bloody mess. The hand then closes and squeezes. The opponent explodes in the skeletal hand, and the hand opens up slowly, the gory remains of the opponent falling out, while the hand remains bloody and messed.

Fatality 4: Shinnok creates a portal behind the opponent. He throws an ethereal blast at the opponent, who flies into the portal. The portal closes, and then reopens, facing the ground from about 10 feet up, and it spews out a horribly mangled corpse.
Fatality 5: A nod to classic Shinnok fatality, he summons a giant hand from a portal. The skeletal hand grabs the opponent, slams him/her into the ground several times, leaving a bloody mess. The hand then closes and squeezes. The opponent explodes in the skeletal hand, and the hand opens up slowly, the gory remains of the opponent falling out, while the hand remains bloody and messed.

"When I joined him into Outworld to fight the Deadly Alliance, I again proved my skill. But he still insisted on holding me back. I knew I was destined for greatness, so I decided to take it for myself. When my chance came, I snatched his Dragon Medallion to absorb it's power.
"And what power it had. I felt it surge through me. As my Kori power began to consume me, I almost thought I made a terrible mistake. I even felt a little scared. But it was not my end. The Medallion only unleashed my true power, my body just needed time to adjust to it. Apparently my master thought me dead, because when I awoke, entombed within some ancient temple in Outworld. After escaping my tomb, I searched through the temple where I have learned my true heritage.
"I always believed I was destined for greatness, now I know it. The Medallion opened my eyes. I tasted the power it could give me and I want more. I must have it all for myself. I return to the Lin Kuei pretending I have no memory of the whole thing and play the 'helpful student' a while longer. My master is a sympathetic fool. He still believes he can change me and he is too distracted by his other enemies. He will not suspect me.
"No, my only concern is the Demon woman, Sareena. She suspects me I can see. I'll have to deal with her before I take the power I deserve..."

Noob Saibot has assumed the throne of the Netherrealm. along with Smoke, he reigns pure evil and will soon extend his reach to Earthrealm, having allready merged Outworld. Raiden, seeing these events, resurects both Kung Lau and Lui Kang to defeat Noob. but an old, sinister force awaits, Shao Khan, resurrected by Havik, has assembled to him an army to crush both Noob and Raiden. it has become a three way all out war with the balance of all that exists hanging. New alliences will be made, loyalties will be tested, and a lone warrior will come to grips with his destiny. The fight for survival has begun...

Noob Saibot
During Onaga's remergence in Outworld, Noob Saibot began his vile plan for domination of the Netherealm. Having found and reactivated the cyborg ninja Smoke, Noob Saibot scoured Outworld for any artifacts of power that he may acquire to aid him in his conquest of the Netherealm. Shao Kahn's abandoned fortress yielded no results save but for a corpse of the former Emperor, and the deactivated cyborg. A few close encounters with Tarkata forces, as well as some run-ins with Edenian and Outworld forces were quick, easy fights for the powerful duo. With every life taken, every ounce of blood spilled, Noob Saibot felt his power grow. It seemed as though he was bound to the very essence of evil deeds.
Through his travels in Outworld, Noob Saibot learned of Sub-Zero, his brother in his mortal life. He would deal with Sub-Zero later. Noob Saibot located the portal that would take Smoke and himself to the Netherealm. Upon entering the Netherealm, Noob felt his power surge, but before he could come to realize his true power, he was attacked by a renegade demon known as Ashrah. They battled fiercely, but Noob Saibot had been caught off guard. He soon realized that he would fight this battle alone, since Smoke had suddenly malfunctioned upon entering the Netherealm. The battle raged, with both fighters succumbing to each other's wrath. Ashrah found herself suddenly torn from the Netherealm, thrown violently through the realms into Outworld, where she was discovered by a pair of noble warriors traveling through the Living Forest, one of which was particularly interested in her tale.
Noob realized that Smoke was now useless. Apparently, unlike the other Lin Kuei prototypes, Smoke not only retained most of his humanity, he also retained his human soul. However, the malfunctioning soon stopped, and Smoke seemed to return to his normal functioning mode. Shortly thereafter, both Noob and Smoke were surprised at yet another warrior in their midst...Noob Saibot's own brother, Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero could hardly beleive what had become of his brother, and that shock would have cost him dearly, had Smoke not reacted on his behalf. Defeated again, this time by Smoke and Sub-Zero, Noob Saibot lie defeated. He had heard rumors of a fully automated warrior known as Sektor, and knew that if his plan were to work, he would have to seek out this warrior. However, he would need some time to recover, and to make matters worse, another powerful presence has returned to the Netherealm...one which will undoubtedly prove to be a powerful obstacle in his path...
I imagine Noob would return by himself, Smoke having lost it in the Netherealm and acting on Sub-Zero's behalf upon seeing him. Smoke was the original "retain humanity" story before they swapped it out for Cyrax, so I think its appropriate he get some recognition. Here's his first person bio:

My defeat at the hands of Ashrah was unexpected. To further complicate matters, Smoke was unable to make the transition to the Netherealm, and the younger brother of my former self has taken it upon himself to interfere in my plans. Sub-Zero will pay dearly for his interference, though I am most impressed and somewhat proud of his power and status. Our battle will indeed be glorious. In addition to this, Ashrah seems to have left her weapon behind. This artifact may prove useful in my endeavors.
With Smoke no longer under my control, I must alter my plans. Through my own reconaissance, I have learned of the cyborg ninja Sektor...he will undoubtedly prove to be a useful ally, and my domination of the Netherealm will depend on an alliance with the elusive cyborg. As I recover from my battles with Ashrah and Sub-Zero, I must recruit the greatest warriors of the Brotherhood to enter Earthrealm with me and seek out Sektor's Tekunin. With their technology, my goal of creating an army of cybernetically enhanced demons will be complete. However, I feel an overwhelming sense of dread, and a presence I have not felt since this realm was ruled by Shinnok...
I imagine Noob would look alot like how he did in Deception. I must admit that Noob looked rather unique. They took a joke character, and gave him a total overhaul and serious storyline...bravo. As for his moves, now that he is solo, he would have a different set of special moves.
Netherblast: The dreaded 'No Block Ball' returns, but is toned down. It creates a black cloud around the opponent who cannot block. However, the opponent can still perform special moves and attack, unlike MKT/UMK3, in which the move prevented the opponent from doing ANYTHING.
Shuriken Toss: Standard shuriken throw, like in MKD. A straight-up damage dealing projectile attack.
Phase: Temporarily phase out of a physical form. He takes on the all-black appearence he is famous for. All projectiles will pass right through him, and he cannot be hit. He also cannot attack, as he is not in a physical state. Lasts for approximately 3 seconds, great for getting out of a cheap combo or avoiding a special move. Can be used in conjunction with teleport as an effective escape.
Teleport: Noob clasps his hands together and sinks into the floor, rising behind the opponent. Pressing block during the rise will cause Noob to leap into the air, while grabbing the opponent, similar to his UMK3/MKT tele-throw.
High Jump/Air Shuriken: Noob leaps high into the air and tumbles into a roll in mid-air. From this position he can throw shuriken at the opponent.
Klone Saibot: Noob Saibot releases a clone of himself that will throw the opponent to Noob, setting them up for a juggle combo. If used mid-combo, it will result in a high-hitting, high-damage combo ender.
Fatalities
Fatality 1: Noob phases his arms out, and reaches into his opponent's chest. His arms then phase back into a physical state. His opponent writhes in agony. Noob plants his foot firmly in the stomach, then pulls...the broken ribcage is pulled right out of the chest. Blood, internal organs and bone fragments spill out onto the floor as the opponent falls dead. Noob raises the broken ribs that he yanked out of the chest high in the air. His arms are covered with blood, and it drips onto the floor. He then goes into a win pose.
Fatality 2: True to his origins, Noob Saibot grabs the opponent at the neck, and tugs violently, pulling off head with spine attached. He throws the decapitated head and spine violently onto the ground and assumes victory pose.
Fatality 3: Noob clones himself. The clone grabs one arm, Noob grabs the other. Like what is done to Sub-Zero in his MKD ending, Noob Saibot and the clone both pull in opposite directions. The victim is torn in half, a bloody storm erupting from the corpse upon being torn in half.
Fatality 4: Noob spins his opponent around. He punches hard through the opponent's back. His hand rips through the chest, heart in hand. Broken ribs are sprawled outward from the opponent's chest. The heart beats a few times, and Noob pulls his arms back through the hole. The body falls forward, dead. Noob looks at the heart, his eyes narrow, and he crushes the heart in his hand.
Fatality 5: Noob erupts into a berserk combo. He begins with vicious blows to the body and head. He uses Ashrah's Kriss (now corrupted in his possession), slicing up the opponent, leaving bloody gashes all over the body, ending the combo with a shuriken flurry, similar to his MKD fatality. The opponent drops to their knees. Noob takes the corrupt Kriss and slices the opponent straight down the middle, from head to groin, and the opponent falls in half. Noob shows off moves with the Kriss, and strikes a pose.

I imagine Noob would return by himself, Smoke having lost it in the Netherealm and acting on Sub-Zero's behalf upon seeing him. Smoke was the original "retain humanity" story before they swapped it out for Cyrax, so I think its appropriate he get some recognition. Here's his first person bio:

My defeat at the hands of Ashrah was unexpected. To further complicate matters, Smoke was unable to make the transition to the Netherealm, and the younger brother of my former self has taken it upon himself to interfere in my plans. Sub-Zero will pay dearly for his interference, though I am most impressed and somewhat proud of his power and status. Our battle will indeed be glorious. In addition to this, Ashrah seems to have left her weapon behind. This artifact may prove useful in my endeavors.
With Smoke no longer under my control, I must alter my plans. Through my own reconaissance, I have learned of the cyborg ninja Sektor...he will undoubtedly prove to be a useful ally, and my domination of the Netherealm will depend on an alliance with the elusive cyborg. As I recover from my battles with Ashrah and Sub-Zero, I must recruit the greatest warriors of the Brotherhood to enter Earthrealm with me and seek out Sektor's Tekunin. With their technology, my goal of creating an army of cybernetically enhanced demons will be complete. However, I feel an overwhelming sense of dread, and a presence I have not felt since this realm was ruled by Shinnok...
I imagine Noob would look alot like how he did in Deception. I must admit that Noob looked rather unique. They took a joke character, and gave him a total overhaul and serious storyline...bravo. As for his moves, now that he is solo, he would have a different set of special moves.
Netherblast: The dreaded 'No Block Ball' returns, but is toned down. It creates a black cloud around the opponent who cannot block. However, the opponent can still perform special moves and attack, unlike MKT/UMK3, in which the move prevented the opponent from doing ANYTHING.
Shuriken Toss: Standard shuriken throw, like in MKD. A straight-up damage dealing projectile attack.
Phase: Temporarily phase out of a physical form. He takes on the all-black appearence he is famous for. All projectiles will pass right through him, and he cannot be hit. He also cannot attack, as he is not in a physical state. Lasts for approximately 3 seconds, great for getting out of a cheap combo or avoiding a special move. Can be used in conjunction with teleport as an effective escape.
Teleport: Noob clasps his hands together and sinks into the floor, rising behind the opponent. Pressing block during the rise will cause Noob to leap into the air, while grabbing the opponent, similar to his UMK3/MKT tele-throw.
High Jump/Air Shuriken: Noob leaps high into the air and tumbles into a roll in mid-air. From this position he can throw shuriken at the opponent.
Klone Saibot: Noob Saibot releases a clone of himself that will throw the opponent to Noob, setting them up for a juggle combo. If used mid-combo, it will result in a high-hitting, high-damage combo ender.
Fatalities
Fatality 1: Noob phases his arms out, and reaches into his opponent's chest. His arms then phase back into a physical state. His opponent writhes in agony. Noob plants his foot firmly in the stomach, then pulls...the broken ribcage is pulled right out of the chest. Blood, internal organs and bone fragments spill out onto the floor as the opponent falls dead. Noob raises the broken ribs that he yanked out of the chest high in the air. His arms are covered with blood, and it drips onto the floor. He then goes into a win pose.
Fatality 2: True to his origins, Noob Saibot grabs the opponent at the neck, and tugs violently, pulling off head with spine attached. He throws the decapitated head and spine violently onto the ground and assumes victory pose.
Fatality 3: Noob clones himself. The clone grabs one arm, Noob grabs the other. Like what is done to Sub-Zero in his MKD ending, Noob Saibot and the clone both pull in opposite directions. The victim is torn in half, a bloody storm erupting from the corpse upon being torn in half.
Fatality 4: Noob spins his opponent around. He punches hard through the opponent's back. His hand rips through the chest, heart in hand. Broken ribs are sprawled outward from the opponent's chest. The heart beats a few times, and Noob pulls his arms back through the hole. The body falls forward, dead. Noob looks at the heart, his eyes narrow, and he crushes the heart in his hand.
Fatality 5: Noob erupts into a berserk combo. He begins with vicious blows to the body and head. He uses Ashrah's Kriss (now corrupted in his possession), slicing up the opponent, leaving bloody gashes all over the body, ending the combo with a shuriken flurry, similar to his MKD fatality. The opponent drops to their knees. Noob takes the corrupt Kriss and slices the opponent straight down the middle, from head to groin, and the opponent falls in half. Noob shows off moves with the Kriss, and strikes a pose.

I was deactivated and left to rot in his dungeon as some sort of trophy. Forever trapped in my artificial body.

Unfortunately, my alliance with the imbecile Thunder God did nothing but cost me my Amulet.
"But I digress. With my Amulet gone my power is cut in half, so I cannot afford to make rash decisions. I returned to the shadows and watched as the situation in Outworld grew more and more desperate. I watched as the fools of Earth and Edenia tried to fight Onaga only to fail miserably. "One would think I would be driven mad by these defeats. Quite the opposite. I can finally see clearly. At first I despised Quan Chi for betraying me and Raiden for defeating me. But I really should thank them. It was only after my defeat that I finally learned the true purpose of existence. Only then did I finally discover my purpose.

Smoke
Smoke had lost a battle against Cyrax and Sektor during the battle for Earthrealm, nearly a decade earlier. The two cyborg assassins learned that Smoke had not been completely automated before Shao Kahn's invasion of Earthrealm. The Lin Kuei had been in the midst of internal struggle, and the invasion force caused such chaos that the Lin Kuei and Black Dragon technicians that had begun working on Smoke were unable to finish. When Sektor and Cyrax found Sub-Zero, they were assailed, albeit unsuccessfully, by Smoke. Smoke had bought Sub-Zero enough time to escape but was defeated by the pair of cyborgs. Shao Kahn's minions later found the badly damaged cyborg and brought him before Kahn. Kahn saw Smoke as nothing more than a trophy of his conquest of Earthrealm, and ordered that the deactivated cyborg be taken to his fortress in Outworld.
Smoke was locked in Shao Kahn's artifact chamber for years, trapped in a cybernetically-induced coma caused by damage wrought by the battle with Cyrax and Sektor. Over the years, some of Shao Kahn's more intelligent minions scoured the realms for the necessary parts to repair Smoke. Kahn's eventual plan for Smoke was to use him as an assassin, but that plan would never come to fruition - he was far to pressed with the matters of battling the now free realm of Edenia. Regardless, Smoke had been repaired, but his human consciousness was still locked in a state of hibernation. Only when the situation turned most dire for Kahn would Smoke finally have his chance at freedom.
Discovered by Noob Saibot shortly after Kahn apparently fell at the hands of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, Noob Saibot reactivated the comatose cyborg and reprogrammed him to follow his every command. This alliance was indeed deadly, but it would not last...upon entering the Netherealm, Smoke's humanity broke through the bonds of cyberization and was awakened once more. In unrelenting agony, Smoke did the only thing he could...he allowed his artificial consciousness to take over, and returned to a state of cybernetic servitude. He was too late to assist Noob, but Noob was not badly hurt by Ashrah and they continued their Netherealm journey.
When Smoke and Noob encountered Sub-Zero however, Smoke's tactic changed. His human side still awake, though limited by the cybernetic gear, Smoke instantly recognized Sub-Zero. So too did Noob Saibot...they were brothers after all. Smoke had finally realized what he was seeing when he looked at Noob Saibot...the deceased, older brother of his closest friend and ally. When Noob ordered Smoke to kill Sub-Zero, Smoke turned on Noob Saibot, and together Sub-Zero and Smoke defeated their adversary. Noob Saibot escaped, and together Sub-Zero and Smoke escaped the Netherealm before their minds could be tortured any further by this nightmarish realm. However, in the process of escaping the realm, Smoke and Sub-Zero were transported to different areas of Outworld...the result of a chaotic wave of ethereal energy that blasted all the realms at once. Smoke now wanders Outworld, searching for his ally. Along the way, Smoke will encounter a new friend that may be able to help Smoke in such a way that his humanity may at least be fully restored...
Smoke would be a secret character in MK7. He can be reached by the classic 'down and start' motion in the Living Forest when an uppercut is performed and 'Toasty' is heard. He can then be unlocked by being defeated, and then completing the game with Sub-Zero and a certain new character, who I will post when the 'MK7 New Character Creation Thread' goes up. He will be in both robot and human forms. His blood color, voice, and appearence will change accordingly.

After nearly a decade of imprisonment in my cybernetic body, I have at last awakened. Noon Saibot, who is in actuality the deceased older brother of my friend and ally Sub-Zero, found and reactivated me deep in Shao Kahn's fortress. I had been locked in a perpetual coma since my battle with Cyrax and Sektor, and only when Noob Saibot brought me to the Netherealm was I able to free myself from the confines of the cybernetic prison. My human side has awakened once more. I found myself in agony, and my only choice was to allow the artificial intelligence to take over my body again.
The Netherealm was just too much for me to bear. By reactivating my cybernetic side I was able to alleviate some of the agnozing pain I suddenly found myself in. When I came to, I noticed that Noob had been wounded, but not badly. He seemed displeased at my lack of help. As we made our way to a large fortress in the Netherealm, we encountered a familiar face...my friend and ally Sub-Zero. Instantly, I was able to overpower my cybernetic side. When Noob ordered me to kill Sub-Zero, I obliged...by turning my attack on Noob himself. Together, Sub-Zero and I defeated Noob, who managed to escape us. At long last, reunited with my friend, we made our way to the great portal where we could escape this Hell.
Things did not go as planned. When we entered the portal, we were both scattered throughout the realms as a wave of energy overtook everything. I awoke to find myself in Outworld. Where in this wasteland is Sub-Zero? Is he even in Outworld? Before we departed, Sub-Zero told me of two others I may seek out for help. As I began my journey to find them, I was approached by a warrior from the shadows. I had initially took him as an enemy at first, but I soon recognized the young Lin Kuei warrior. Sub-Zero and I both had a hand in his training when he was still a young boy. He informed me of an insidious plot on Sub-Zero's life by none other than the former grand master of the Lin Kuei, the same bastard responsible for my current state. However, I was also interested in what my young ally had to say about Sub-Zero's Dragon Amulet. It may hold the power to seperate me from this cybernetic prison forever...
Smoke would have a whole new type of moveset, reliant on alot of stealth and teleportation tactics.
Teleport and attack: Smoke's classic teleportation from MK3 and MKD. He sinks into the ground in a puff of Smoke. However, from this position he can perform one of four attacks. By holding one button, Smoke will reappear in the air behind the opponent and do a multi-hit kicking attack from the air. Another button would be his classic tele-cut. A third button would be an escape tactic, he reappears behind the opponent doing a backflip away from them while coming out from behind. His final attack would be a launching spinning kick, similar to Kobra/Johnny Cage from MKD/MKDA respectively. Very effective, since the opponent has 4 attacks to anticipate. If no button is pressed, Smoke simply reappears behind the opponent.
Stealth Dash: Smoke fades into a smokey state and with blazing speed dashes at the opponent, causing significant knockback. Smoke cannot be hit by projectiles during this movement.
Smoke form: Smoke's body takes on the form of smoke, similar to how his alternate looked in MKD. He cannot be hit by projectiles during this state.
Invisibility: Smoke disappears in a cloud of smoke.
Air Throw: If block is pressed in the air while both Smoke and his opponent are jumping, Smoke will throw his opponent. Also used as a combo ender for a launch combo.
Fog Blast: Smoke throws a wave of smoke energy that can intercept enemy projectiles, making Smoke VERY effective at defending against opponents who rely on projectile attacks, or abuse them. Furthermore, if the blast connects with the opponent, they will take a small amount of damage, and a cloud of smoke will surround and stun the opponent. The only disadvantage to this is that the opponent can use their projectile to intercept this attack as well so they don't get stunned.
Tricky Dash: Smoke appears to do his Dash attack, but then suddenly explodes into a cloud of smoke, and comes in from behind with a dashing punch (similar to the Noob Smoke team move where on character swaps out, the other comes in with a punch).

what is this cruelty first i was defeated by the pitiful ashrah i was in a state of anger and took it out on the stupid piece of junk smoke but when i turned around subzero was at his side my brother.. what power and appearence it feels like he is the lin kuei master himself but that could never hapen no he is too weak as soon as i leaped at both of them subzero instantly freezed me and left with smoke for me too die for some period of time i was in a state of power my freezing abilities returned to me my akin and suitit is the same as the my first battle in mortal kombat but i also felt my dark shadow powers increase as well with both of my powers i knew this hell would be mine . but not without a price as i witnessed a man with ancieant war paint in his face and next to him the spirit of the dragon king burning up i knew he was dead. such power this man had he would be quite useful to me i acted as his allie my brother since i appearedlike him why not be like him i used himto take us both to outworld in search for my bother as we walked in outworld he noticed something different about me a evil presence as my brother appeared with smoke nightwolf instantly knew i was not his ally and shot a spirit arrow at me it had a big affect and brought me to my knees. i did not want to die by 3 foes in kombat so i freezed my self to act as a harakiri the when they turned around to leave i fleeded . now with my originaland new powers i shall destroy my foes and rule the neatherealm

But now I see my hopes were in vain. Although I perished in battle with the Deadly Alliance, I died with no regret. I did what I could and died honorably.
"But fate it seems, thought that wasn't good enough. I was brought back by Onaga, the Dragon King. He reawakened the evil in my heart and used me as his bodyguard. And in a cruel twist of fate, my mother died trying to save me. She died....by my hand. Now free from Onaga's control, I can see this terrible joke fate has played on me. My mother, a good and noble woman, dies while I, a former assassin, a killer of men, women, and children, live on with the torment of my actions.

"But fate it seems, thought that wasn't good enough. I was brought back by Onaga, the Dragon King. He reawakened the evil in my heart and used me as his bodyguard. And in a cruel twist of fate, my mother died trying to save me. She died....by my hand. Now free from Onaga's control, I can see this terrible joke fate has played on me. My mother, a good and noble woman, dies while I, a former assassin, a killer of men, women, and children, live on with the torment of my actions.
"I can't do this anymore. I want it to end. I want to die, like I deserve to. I leave the protection of Edenia up to my friend Jade. I only hope she will succeed where I failed. And as for me...I intend to end my life. But not before I make sure Onaga never harms another soul again.
"But I cannot do this alone. Fortunately, I have heard my clone Mileena has fallen out of Onaga's favor. We now share a common enemy. She won't want to help me, I already know.....but I can give her what she's always wanted. An offer she won't refuse."

"I was so close. So close to finally fulfilling my purpose....my destiny. I masqueraded as my 'sister' Kitana and took control of her armies for the Dragon King. I was to lead them to ruin. They were to be led into an ambush and be destroyed. But a strange thing happened. They won. It was then that I realized I had achieved my purpose. I controlled the most powerful army in Outworld and Edenia combined. As long as they believed I was Kitana...I could rule. I could finally take my birthright.
"But Baraka knew of my masquerade. He could pose a threat to me. I....loved Baraka.....but I could not let that stand in the way of my destiny. I lured him to the Beetle Lair and I struck him down. I left the body to be devoured by the insects that dwelt within and set to return to MY army. But then the real Baraka arrived. Someone alerted him of my plan and he sent a decoy in his place. Baraka attacked me and I tried to fight....but then Onaga himself had arrived. Someone told him of my betrayal.
"I escaped.....barely....only to find that Kitana's ally Jade had alerted the army of my deception. Someone told Jade what I was doing. The same someone who warned Baraka of my plan. The same someone who told Onaga that I had betrayed him. This same someone is now seeking to take control of Edenia....to take my birthright.
"Someone named Tanya.
"Now I'm on the run. But I have no intention of going quietly into the night. I will have my revenge. I will find this Tanya and I will peel the flesh from her bones. And I will go through whatever I have to do it. I will prove that I should rule Edenia. I will achieve my destiny."

skull crush- reptile dashes at theoppontent for a grap slightly krush their skull but not breaking it then throws the opponent on the floor
claw swipe- retile flips to the opponent and does a five hit claw swipes then ends with a pop up for more sadistic combos lol
invisibility- u know wat it is lol
appearence- similar to the original ninja costume but only the scin is of a actual gatorlike feature and his mouth and teeth are visible
